I thought he was the ONLY thing that made the film "Sylvia" watchable. He made for one sexy Ted Hughes!

Not sure about a blond Bond, but I do like Daniel Craig and think he'll do a solid job. Am glad to see it's someone who can bring a menacing presence to the role; after all, James Bond is a killer who functions in a violent world. Never thought either Roger Moore or Pierce Brosnan ever captured that.

I'm still bumming about Clive Owens not getting it

I don't think Clive Owen would have been interested. I'm surprised that Craig is. Most of the men who've played the part end up with few other roles to play. Most have not had terribly distinguished careers - outside their role as 007.

Well Sean Connery's doen okay for himself. But you're right about the rest of them.
Anyway, are there people out there really hankering for a new Bond movie? They've all been pretty middling to poor for a long time, IMO.

Anderson Cooper should play as Mr.Bonds! He's sexier and much more magnetic than Craig.

No. James Bond can only be played by a Brit.

I heard Carig is opposed to guns and cigarettes. Um, dude, you're playing Bond, James Bond. He shoots people and smokes cigarettes.

How can he be against guns and cigarettes? He played a gun-toting criminal (who smoked, by the way) in 'Layer Cake' and a Mosad agent in 'Munich.' If I'm not mistaken, he even smoked as Ted Hughes in last year's 'Sylvia' though he carried no weapon.

I would disagree. "Die Another Day" was a little bit in the vein of "Moonraker" in the sense that it really stretches the imagination even beyond the normal Bond movie (the diamond satellite in "DAD", the lasers and "Bondola" in "Moonraker").
However, the other Pierce Brosnan Bond movies were excellent. I am an especially big fan of "Goldeneye", the movie that really reinvigorated the franchise. Sure, if you're a purist, the newer movies are not as good as the Connery-era ones. But I personally feel the newer ones have done a great job attracting younger fans like myself.

Daniel is a terrific actor. I have seen him in many British films and tv series. He has a Northern accent. He is good friends with Doctor Who actor Christopher Eccelston. They have appeared in many shows together.

I heard that Daniel Craig has appeared nude in several films. I've seen him in many things, but never saw his member. Only his arse. Does anyone have any Daniel nude photos to share?

Who is looking forward to Casino Royale? I grew up watching James Bond movies so I want to see this one and also to see Daniel Craig kick some ass.

I'm looking forward to see Daniel Craig in that light blue speedo. I thought he was going to be full frontal in Casino Royale? The trailer just played at it's rated pg-13.

I recently saw Casino Royale. Great action scenes (very different from your usual Bondian stuff) and beautiful cinematography. The plot was also toned down from the usual 'taking over the world' stuff villians do. The series with it's themes and what not has been moved into the 90's for sure. Judi Dench is fabulous (of course) and Eva Green as the Bond girl is good and she and Daniel Craig have chemistry.
And Daniel Craig? Who said this man wasn't sexy? Have you looked at him? He's physically unlike any other Bond (he's blond for one thing and doesn't have that tall, lean body of the others, though he's certainly in better shape than any of them -- that chest, those biceps, those abs, that swimsuit!), though he's hot in his own right. But beyond his wonderful physical attributes, he's very good in the role. He's does a good job showing us what Bond was like before he became the Bond that most of us are familiar with. Tough, masculine, sexy and funny (especially during a torture scene, if you can believe that). Great movie. I look forward to seeing him again.
Anthony (who had never seen him before, but is checking out his err... body of work)

Now everyone wants in on the "Brokeback" act.
The first blonde 007
Daniel Craig thinks Bond should lock-lips with a block and he's willing to get naked too.
If he does full frontal I might check out my first 007 movie, straight or gay scene notwithstanding.
The "BBM-effect" continues.
Though he has a point about Dr. Who's influence on gayness in television, I don't think there was sex in Who involving full-frontal.

It would make sense for James Bond to at least be bi. It would be funny if it turned out if he was only using those women for spying purposes and he has a husband at home. ( Yes I know he got married once but we all know that doesn't mean anything...)

I like this James Bond. This plot line was weird but it was a lot less campy. While Daniel Craig still does nothing for me in the face, he has MAD sex appeal. His body is bangin and he's got a nice ass. Because 007 has so many popular male fans I'm not sure how this will go over with the homophobic public. But, I appreciate him for even suggesting it. I have also read reviews where people have said he "played the character gay" in Casino Royale. I can see that. He did seem a little "how you doin".

I think maybe Craig got a little horny playing
all those scenes with sexy French free-runner Sebastien Foucan.
The best view I've ever seen of Craig's cute little butt was actually in Munich. And this was long before I'd read that others notice it.
Didn't find it particularly impressive at the time. But if he's gonna show it all - and more - in a gay-themed movie, well let's just say I won't turn off the video player.

That is so cool! And I bet he would make a hot lesbian - if their in to butch.
I saw California lieutenant governor Gavin Newsome make such an articulate statement of women's inequality on the Bill Maher Show that no other than the doyen of women's rights Gloria Steinem actually grasped his forearm and mouthed "Thank you!" as they wer fading away for a commercial.
God I hope this man runs for president in 2016.
If more men like Craig and Newsome lent their FULL support to issues that do not directly affect their careers, this world would be a better place.
