Allan Kayser? He of the too, too tight jeans on the corndawg humor-laced Mama's Family comedy. Don't know if it's PC but I always got a hoot out of this Carol Burnett-inspired farce. Actually reminded me of home.
And Kayser's waxed-on jeans held my eye the entire show and he's still sexy looking to judge by this recent
photo.
He seems to have disappeared happily into obscurity. Certainly gave me some happy moments while he was around.
Anyone else have old favorites that they've looked up?

Thanks for reminding me of Allan. I had a serious crush on him back in the days of Mama's Family. I love redheads and that was one fine looking boy. That recent photo shows the years have been very kind to him. Wish he would make a comeback.

Another crush here, too. What was it about "country" boys and tight jeans? Remember the Dukes of Hazzard?
whatever happened to country boys and tight jeans? Just come on over to Kentucky and you'll see 'em.
If not, just look for the PBR (professional Bull Riding assc) on espn. espn2 or something like that. Those cowboys trying to hang on and not bust their nuts are just F-I-N-E!!

As I recall, and I can't quote an exact source, he retired from showbiz and has a regular non-showbiz career, and is married with kids.

Didn't know Gittins had retired. According to his
credits he's appeared as recently as 2002 in a Britsh television series called Checkup.
Wonder if he's aged as well as Kayser.

Brian Kerwin of BJ and the Bear. Oh, that cop uniform! I last saw him on Roseanne; still looked great.
Come to think of it, Greg Evigan (BJ) was really hot, too.
How great is it that I wasn't the only one who watched Mama's Family for Bubba!

Sportinlife, you are a hoot! Mama's Place!! Loved that show, was funny as hell. And yes, those jeans were practically glued on. I believe Vicky Lawrence who played Mama is actually on tour right now doing stand up comedy in "Momma" drag.
Actress Dorothy Lyman who played Naomi, Momma's tacky and oversexed daughter-in-law, was also great.

Before the brawny paper towel man; before the Marlboro man; there was
Matt Dillon back in the day when law enforcers were the good guys and toting a gun while being "sensitive" was cool. I admit Ken Curtis' Festus Haggen, who reminded me of a favorite old alcoholic uncle, was the most fun to see show up, but James Arness' character was the one that got my juices flowing. I'm surprised he still seems to be active. Pity he's the only main character from the show alive.

The Dukes of Hazard, now there was a sexually ambiguous couple if I ever saw one. Even as a kid I thought America could not possibly be so innocent, or dense, as not to see the obvious homo-bility of those two. I mean black and blonde, two pretty dumb dudes who spent more time hanging out with each other than with any female. Why can't there be a sequel where they come out of the closet? They could reveal they had lesbian mothers no one ever knew.

You can still catch these two homo-billies running around in their tight jeans on TCN - The Country Network - on cable. The ladies may find the country girls' equally tight-fitting tops appealing too!

Well, I'm sure they're not doing that plotline but there
is a Dukes of Hazzard movie in the works. I forget the guys who are playing the Duke boys, but Jessica Simpson is Daisy Duke. I smell a crapfest a-comin'!

Oh the bulge Bubba used to sport in them tight/painted on jeans!
I did a search of him sometime ago and read that he was working as a tv cameraman or something like that at a local station.
I used to love wathing Mama's Family, in reruns, it was verry funny.
Anyway but to Bubba...
At first, after Aunt Fran died, his pants weren't tight, but as the show got to the latter part of it's run, those pants got tight/painted on.
Bubba's and the blond Duke (Of Hazards) used to sport the tightest panst/jeans on tv, that I can remember.
And speaking of the Brawny man, the new one sported a bulge too (on the right side of his pant leg) in a recent commercial, the one with a birthday cake, but it has now being removed - the scene were one can see his ample bulge...

Going back to Brian Kerwin, he was recently seen on stage here in LA in Albee's "The Goat" and a couple of years back I saw him in a terrific production of "How I Learned to Drive." Also saw a "Love Boat" in which he played a schoolteacher who moonlighted as a male exotic dancer. Julie hired him to entertain the passengers & hilarity ensues when a school board member (played, I think, by Christopher Morris, then of "Trapper John") shows up on the cruise.

Only his career. I clipped this update from the site:
Lance was recently married. He and his new wife, Yvonne, were married at U-Turn for Christ by Pastor Gerry Brown
Lance had that run-in with drugs, and the arrest in 1989 for cocaine possession. Those charges were dropped when it turned out not to be coke, but it was enough to scare Lance in the right direction. He joined U-Turn for Christ, a church in Southern California that provides non-medical rehab and Bible study for addicts. He now lives in Perris, CA where he helps raise his 5 year old daughter, Savanagh. He still works with U-Turn.

Speaking of stuffing in the crotch, I haven't seen much of Crispin Bonham-Carter,
seen here book-reading for BBC children's radio in 2003, since he played
the adorable and way-too-effusive Bingley in my favorite miniseries: the BBC's "Pride and Prejudice", in 1996.
Every time I watch the video, that bulge of his always makes me wonder "Is that real, or a fashion from tha period?". Maybe men actually stuffed back then, just as women boosted their boobs up for the same reason.
Regardless, he'll always be one of my favorite redheads. Even though I can't find a much better photo
than this.

I think he left Hollywood after a religious awakening. He hasn't done anything related to the industry in 14 years. His

Molly Ringwald is trying to get a "Sixteen Candles" sequel off the ground. I wonder who will play his role if he refuses to come back?

As long as we're going way back to the guys that hit us hard in our sweet adolescence, I would have to add Joe Penny in "Riptide," and (I can't believe I'm typing this) Lorenzo Lamas in his first movie, "Takedown."
As many have said, they were the two that whispered in my ear, "hey dude, you're gay."

Whatever happened to...
Klinton Spilsbury.
Who? He played The Lone Ranger in a movie remake from the early 80's. Saw a pic of him in the mask recently and was reminded of how sexy he was. Found the following which ends with a sweet sentence:
I found the following update on the career of Klinton Spilsbury. It comes from the promtional website for the film "Lethal Force" (2003), where Spilsbury served as sound designer. The 2003 bio for Spilsbury states: "Having tried his hand at acting by starring in the stunning studio misfire "Legend of The Lone Ranger", Klinton divides his time creating audio soundscapes for subliminal self-improvement CDs and spending romantic evenings with this longtime companion of over ten years, Frank Prather."
