Is anybody watching this
show? It follows the work life of Southwest Airlines employees as they have to deal with troublesome passengers and other problems. What a cool job! And in one of the episodes they featured an openly gay flight attendant (OK, that's nothing new, but it's nice to see people who are out and happy in the workplace).

I switched over to A&E and watched the second episode after "RW/RR Challenge" went off last night. I thought it was pretty funny showing how the airline deals with ass****s.

I met the head/founder of Southwest at an event here in DC and he is an absolute riot. Nicest, funniest guy you'd ever want to meet. Smokes like a chimney and loves Wild Turkey.

I used to watch this show regularly, but now only watch it occassionally. But I was just watching now (while on the computer--so not fully paying attention), and it seems like Michael Carr, one of my favorite Southwest employees on the show (and one who I had my suspicions of; I think he's good-looking, too), may be gay. He's seen at his house getting ready to go to the gym... there's another guy there, and some Herb Ritts photos/posters on the wall... Hmmm. He's an excellent employee, always remains cool under pressure, and keeps his composure when people are irate and mean. I almost want to fly Southwest out of LAX just so he can 'check me in.' wink
I also like Colleen, Yolanda, and Val, who's so perky and friendly.

Yes, he is gay. There was an episode last season in which he brought a guy he was dating to a company dance.

Caught the show tonight. It's quite interesting......it's amazing how many stupid people there are. Gotta like the cheesy engagement..........I bet the guy making the announcement was a little jealous of that girl...
