I am glad to hear (at least it appears that way) that Jason Giambi will recover from whatever has ailed him. While I do respect his privacy on one had I am curious as to why he doesnt speak on the topic of his tumor (I believe that is what it is supposed to be). Anyone know a little more? Do we think the tumor was due to steroid use?

Jason has always stuck me as a needy for approval and is unlikely to air any dirty laundry he has.

yeah so explain his average year last year and his totally crappy playoffs. The guy feasts on poor pitching but over-all is a pathetic pussy. Give me a Tino Martinez when he was with the yanks who may have had slightly lower overall stats but came up big.
And what the hell.. he has bad knees, he has parasites, he has a tumor.. whats next. Do you think he let the air out of his ridiculously large arms during the off season.
I dont know... Im a huge Yanks fan but the guy rubs me the wrong way... I cant place my finger on why though.

Does anyone know where he and Kevin Brown supposedly caught the gastrointestinal amoebas or parasites or whatever it was that ailed them? I've never heard a satisfactory explanation, and am wondering if I just missed it or something.
