Tried to watch HBO's new Sunday night program (even if it was Monday). Really like Timothy Olyphant (he was the lead in 'The Lonely Hearts Club' with Dean Cain and Zach Braff). As I said, TRIED to watch. First ten minutes, "c___sucker' (trying to avoid Outsports censors) must have been uttered 20 times. I usually have no problem with language but the overuse of this really bugged me. What, to authenticate the Old West, they use that word? Did anyone else watch and get offended by the overuse of that word?

After awhile, I didn't even hear it anymore. Is that bad? Remember, "It's not TV. It's HB-f**kin'-O."

Mmmm.... Timothy Olyphant... I'll keep watching.

I actually liked the show very much - for a dirty "realistic" western.

I counted the use of the term "c**ksuc**r" nine times during the hour. I didn’t think that term had come into our vernacular as early as 1876, but the rest of show seemed so well researched I would be surprised if the producer's had made a mistake.

Even one of my straight friends, who is the western aficionado in my circle, thought the term was over used and may not be historically accurate for 1876.
