Big doings in Copenhagen today. Crown Prince Frederik (known as Frede) married his fiance Mary Donaldson (an Aussie commoner) today in the Vor Frue cathedral. They had met in 2000 at the Sydney Olympics.

My aunts in Denmark have been waiting for this event for years -- he's in his mid-thirties, after all, and there are heirs to be produced!!
