Hookers and cocaine and maturbation! Oh my!

When he used to do sports I found him to be one of the most annoying people on the air. Though I really never see him since he moved on to the entertainment beat, I assume he still is.

I still like him playing the title role opposite Ronald Reagan as George Gipp in "Knute Rockne, All American." wink
George Twins fan
I've seen O'Brien a few times on the entertainemnet shows he's done and he is even more annoying than when he was doing sports. He cavorts with these celebrities like they are best buds. And when he is talking to young stars he tries to sound hip. Nothing sadder than someone who is old enough to need hip replacement trying to sound hip.

I saw him in person once a few years back, and he was very hung over at 2 in the afternoon....

We would occasionally see him as he prepared to cover the Academy Awards, doing rehearsals out front of the Shrine Auditorium and, let us say, he was clearly feeling no pain. I guess this pretty much kills whatever plans he had (as he stated to Esquire a few months back) to eventually run for Governor of his home state, South Dakota.

Interesting statement from Keith Olbermann about O'Brien's current problems: "He and I used to cover many of the same sporting events together and, at one time, he was a very nice man. I wish him well." At one time he was a nice man??....geez...kick a guy when he's down, Keith.

"At one time"? Sounds like Pat has a reputation...

Now that I think of it, the word I have to use to describe him is "smarmy."

The voicemails are funny in a sad, sickening kinda way. The Ticket (Dallas) has a link to them on Gordo's page. He is either off the deep end or just plain perverted to leave messages like that.

Out of control. And where did I first hear about this? On Wendy Williams' WBLS show!

But my favorite bit on that page was this:

Down and out with Mickey Rourke

File this under \"Eww!\"

Mickey Rourke went from married to Carre Otis to sucking face with a dead dog.

\"I lost Beau Jack three years ago,\" he recalls of his beloved pooch. \"I gave him mouth-to-mouth for 45 minutes before they peeled me off.\"

\"I've lost everything. Every f——ing thing,\" Rourke, who is making a comeback this summer in \"Sin City,\" tells Rolling Stone magazine.

\"When I was down to $200, even my entourage wouldn't talk to me anymore. I actually called up this one guy to ask if he knew where I could get a construction job.\"

Dude. Even your entourage?
Mickey Rourke. Just say no.
