I know we have a thread for All Star Survivor but I can't find it on the board anywhere.

I was reluctant to start a new thread as we are midway through the existing season...

I did a search and it shows up in the search, but then the link says that it is not available. HUH? WTF is going on?
m1
We have asked the system administrator to investigate.
bobby78751
Is Richard Hatch an Outsports member and figured out a way to manipulate the system and deleted the thread when he was reading all of the slams against him? That would be hilarious! smile.gif

It's weird how the entire thread got deleted.

Is Clear Channel responsible for this????
First Howard Stern and now Outsports Survivor Thread

Great episode last nite. I loved all the scheming after the the last challenge. Reminded me of the last few weeks of the first season. Kudos to Mark Burnett for knowing who the star of Survior is (that would be Ethan) and keeping him in the last as long as possible.

Ethan sucks. Oh, you didn't hear me? ETHAN SUCKS! Colby is where it's at! smile.gif
Jorel
Colby seems to be a bit on the cocky side this time around. Last time, he basically gave the game to Tina.

I've noticed that when I've done searches, too. I used to think it was because a thread was too old or outdated and it got deleted... but the survivor thread is current, so it's a mystery.

And please don't Blame Canada anymore (and you know who you are). Blame Janet Jackson's left boob instead! biggrin.gif

Why blame the left one? It was the one that stayed covered up. smile.gif

Although the pointer still exists, there is no trace of the original topic, nor any apparent reason for its disappearance. Our apologies.

---

It appears that the member who had posted the first message in the Survivor thread must have gone into the Edit Post form and deleted it, which deleted the entire thread. No doubt an innocent error.

The feature setting that allowed members to edit and delete their own posts has been changed to edit only. Now only a moderator can delete a post.

Well...whatever happened to the other thread...

I think the girls made a mistake by not voting off Colby.

It would have saved them at least until the merge!

I think I read a spoiler on here before the show started....so I will see what happens with that...but I am thinking (if the spoiler is wrong) Ethan may have a good chance.

At 35 minutes past the second hour of CBS Early Show, Susan AND Richard are both on this morning! If anyone disagrees that RetardTom needs to be kicked off after his comments last night, I want to personally hit that person.

I thought last night episode was pretty boring. It has to be one of the weakest episodes in the shows history.

I am not sure what Sue was thinking, but no one seemed to really believe her.

The challenge did not look that difficult. It was lame if you ask me. Hopefully things will get back on track next week, and things get good again. It looks like we get to see the true nature of Jerri again! Yea!
hockeyTom
Maybe someone can please fill me in last night regarding the final half hour of the show, which I missed. I don't understand what the hell was going on with Sue, who seemed quite upset about Hatch touching her??? Or something to that effect. What excatly was going on, and who got the boot? Thanks.

SPOILER ALERT! Just filling in pickman...

Sue quit after exploding at Jeff at the reward challenge. This goes back to last week when Richard rubbed his naked body agaist Sue during the immunity challenge. They were both on CBS Early Show and he apologized for making her feel bad. She said she will not sue anyone, as was mentioned last night.
Jorel
Some people don't think Sue should have been that upset. I am not one of them. She obviously was not faking it. If she was, she wouldn't have left the show. Tom was pretty incensitive about the whole thing too. Everyone reacts differently to things like this so I don't feel comfortable saying that Sue overreacted.

If Richard Hatch had done that to me, there would have been some serious ass kickin going on.
Munson Man
I think everyone did believe Sue, and most people were somewhat sympathetic - especially the women. I think Trailer Trash Tom was incredibly insensitive, and I was surprised by Kathy's anger toward Sue, although she had the sense to be much more low-key about it. Personally, I thought Sue overreacted a bit, but this is definitely one of those issues where men an women tend to have completely different reactions.

I don't watch the show but I thought I'd share this. My gossip connection reported this on my e-mail list:

"For what it's worth, we are hearing rumors that Sue Hawk settled with Mark Burnett productions (SEG) for $250,000. That way, she never had to file a lawsuit. We also heard that Richard Hatch gave her $50,000 and CBS gave her $75,000."

Clever is as clever does. I'd hate to take that babe on.

I was happy to see Kathy explaining her strategy for voting out Richard instead of Colby. Looks like Colby's days are numbered anyway. Lex is about to start plotting against him.

What happened to all of our Survivor predictions?? The ones we made before the first episode started? My pick was Kathy, and I still think she will win it all.

My predictions for the final three...

Rob
Lex
Kathy

When Sue started reacting, someone said something about the stresses of the island causing you to react in ways that you wouldn't normally. Without sufficient food or sleep, and with way too much time on your hands to stew, I think that anyone in her situation would have reacted in a way that they wouldn't normally. Overreaction for the "real world"? Maybe. Overreaction for those conditions. Maybe not.

What Richard did was way beyond touching her. He plays the game naked for one reason - to rattle the competition. It works with Colby - how many times has he mentioned discomfort with the middle-aged fat naked gay guy? So when Richard intentionally put himself in direct contact with Sue, whom he dislikes and whom he knows dislikes him, he was using his body as a weapon.

This is especially obvious when we heard from Sue that as Richard was moving past her, he looked right at her and said "I deserve to be here." If is was just an accidental brush-by, would he have said anything at all?

And think about this - does anyone think that he would have done the same thing to Colby? To Boston Rob? To Retard/Trailer Trash Tom? There would have been a serious a$$-kicking if he had tried that with one of the guys, esp. one of the "macho" guys.

BTW and FWIW, I think that's Sue's decision not to sue that jerk had a lot more to do with the telephone-book-sized waiver that contestants had to sign rather than any remorse on Hatch's part.

Gatorjamie: brilliant synopsis of what seems to be going on behind the curtain as it were, and I agree with you. By the way, does anybody else think that the guy who does the Quatro shaving commercial looks alot like a clean shaven Colby? I do.
NoLongerHere
Did y'all see Colby on Curb Your Enthusiam last night???
Jorel
I agree with GatorJamie. I also wonder if the rumors that Joe In Philly mentioned are true.

Puckman1, I noticed that razor commercial too. I actually thought it was Colby.
The_Hammerman
FWIW, it is Colby in the razor commercials.

Fun episode. I love the episodes that are full of backstabbing, bitching and half nekkid men. Can Ethan wear his shorts any lower?

You can feel the difference between the two tribes. Shii Devil vs Uber Bitch Jerr - Awesome. It's so said to see Captain America leave, but this wasn't his game. I like Kathy and I hope she makes it far.

Rupert (or was it Jenna?) was right on about Ethan. He's tough, but he gets too excited and fouls things up (breaking the paddle last night, not being able to untie the ropes).

This is looking like it's Boston Rob's game to lose. He is definitely the MVP of Chapera because he is carrying that team to victory. I still hate him.

Let's all take a moment of silence for the loss of the Colbster. (cue taps) frown

I knew Colby was toast a couple of episodes ago when he was dissing the shi-devil about her gameplay. Don't mess with the Shi-devil or you will get the horns.

He doesn't need this anyways, he has his razor commerical, and his guest spot on 'Curb your enthusiasm' he is a true media whore! smile.gif

I didn't think the challenge looked that hard, maybe it was just me. Why didn't Ethan use the machete to cut the oars free? I wonder if that is what the Robfather did? I wished they had shown that.

I hate to say it but Mogo Mogo is totally falling apart, and that tribe has my favorite players. sad.gif

I am torn about this season, while it is fun to see people come back, the show isn't as exciting when the cast is a bunch of strangers....

I suspect we are coming up on recrap episode in the next week or two.

Now he and Jeff Probst can resume their affair while he's sequestered in Loser Lodge. (ah, perchance to dream...)

I was in LV a couple years ago, and Colby and Tina were signing autographs at the MGM. That man is so hot in person. He is tall and muscular. Seems whenever I see a famous person in person they disapoint, not Colby. Sad to see him go, I just wish Boston Rob would go too, even if he does have a nice bod. wink
Nascar007
Colby should have never dissed the She-Devil Shian about her gameplay a couple of weeks ago. His actions came back to haunt him. He should have known this could happen. His concentration was really off in this game. As another poster here pointed out "this was not his game."

From next weeks previews, it looks like Boston Rob and Amber are trying to swallow each other's tonsils. It will be interesting to see how this tawdry romance plays out as they go into the merger.
Jorel
I wonder how they'll treat Kathy when she returns. Also, I swear, Ethan has 9 lives. It always seems like he's the next to go and then something happens with the other team members.

As I have said before this thing even started, Kathy will win this game. She is extremely shrewd and can hold her own physically with the guys. Now she has allies in both camps; it's looking good.

I am bumping this to remind all Survivor fans that the show is on tonight due to March Madness starting tomorrow!

Thanks, marinerfan! I missed it last week, and if I had missed it this week, there woulda been consequences. eek! wink

But... but... I have to go out drinking tonight! It's St. Patty's Day! tongue.gif I would tape it, but whenever I tape it I end up going to CBS.com first to see who got booted, and then I never watch the tape. Curses!

Yeah, what's going on here; Survivor is on; American Idol is on; Enterprise is on; the NIT is starting; and it's my bowling night! I have three very busy VCR's tonight...
The_Hammerman
eek! I completely forgot that Survivor was on tonight. Whew, Time to set the VCR. I would have been miffed if I would have missed Survivor.

Goodbye, Ethan. smile.gif Hopefully, RetardTom will be next (so he won't be on the jury!) followed by Lex. smile.gif

Well, the eye candy continues to dwindle. Ethan looked beautiful on the log roll challenge. Boston Rob has a cute body, looking better all the time. He has a certain bad-boy-yet-cute charm. And he's played the game pretty damn good! I'd like to see him shave off that peach-fuzz facial hair, though.

I think it was the right time for Ethan to go. Can't blame the others for wanting to get rid of the previous winners.

My only prediction is that Kathy and Rob will make it to the final four; maybe the final two. When there is a merge (which apparently is next week, from the previews) I think the others will pick off Lex. He was exercising a bit too much power last night.

*Oh, I actually last night's show instead of drinking. My hubby had started his St. Pat's drinking at 1:00 (while I was working, dammit!) and it was time for him to be hauled home. eek!

My prediction for next week: There is NO merge, just two new tribes of 5. That's just me predicting.
MarinerFan
I thought last night was kind of boring.... I was really excited about the concept of All Stars. However the dynamics of the game work best for people who do not know each other. It is easier to be conniving and stab someone in the back you don't know.

I couldn't believe how lame the talk between Lex and Ethan was just before tribal council. rolleyes.gif

Based on the previews it looks like we are getting a switch up of the tribes next week. It appears Ambore will not be on the same tribe as the Robfather. Which could prove interesting.

Don't forget the show is on next Wednesday again due to March Madness! smile.gif

Rob's attitude is starting to irritate me; I think he's getting a little to big for his britches; it's time we got a "surprise" alliance to vote him out.

I guess his arrogance was easy to overlook; he is a great competitor and he seems to playing the game a LOT better than he did the first time. It was probably his on camera attack on Rupert that ticked me off.

Rupert is just a hard working guy who thinks that being nice and working hard will get you ahead. That's kind of my philosophy too. But when I see people like Rob go on the attack it reminds me of the corporate butt kissers who's only talent is socializing with the boss.
