Bumping for tonights episode. This should be last the Wednesday show, due to March madness!

It is only a re-crap episode though. I am taping it as I am heading to Vegas after work. So I am hoping someone who watches it tonight will post if it is worth watching...

Damnit! I hate these recap episodes!!! Sonsofabitches! I'll still watch and do my weekly Survivor ritual: the Biore nose strip. smile.gif

Have a great time in Las Vegas, Marinerfan. Look forward to hearing about your trip when you get back. Hopefully the weather is better for you in Las Vegas.

Outwhine. Outbore. Outcry.

Worse. Season. Ever.

Did anyone else notice Richard Hatch JUMPING THE SHARK after it bit him?

Colby: Yes, you can call a gay man a stud, but the real question is can you call a straight man a model???

Jenna: Get over it you whiny f**king bitch. People die every day and you chose to spend your mother's remaining days greedily trying to self-promote your skanky ass until you realized you WERE NOT GONNA WIN. You wasted my time and took someone's place who would have been more deserving.

Sue: Get over it you fat pig. It was a fat man's penis. What about how offended America is having to see you in a BIKINI?!?

Boston Rob: I could teach you, but I'd have to charge.

Ethan: Call me!
bobby78751
For the first time EVER I missed a "Survivor" episode last night. It was much more interesting seeing Matt get the fat-ass-boot on AI. smile.gif I'll be glad when the Fall season rolls around and we have a group of 16 strangers...I'm kinda tired of these people.
MarinerFan
It looks like we have tribe mix up tonight and the Robfather and Ambore get split up which is way  in my book!

I think the tribes are expecting a merge, but I think that will happen next week. I keep wondering when are we going to see the gross food challenge??? The more tribe members that get to eat the gross food the better! biggrin.gif

Line (so far) of the night:

Boston Rob - "It's h-ah-d, wikkid h-ah-d"
MarinerFan
Another SO-SO episode.... Blah what a lame a** challenge. Any survivor fan should have gotten those stupid trivia questions right.

Each episode is more lame than the last one. Hopefully things will pick up. Note to EPMB stick with new casts that do not know each other, that is what keeps the game interesting.

It was smart for the new Chapera to keep Ambore and dump that media whore Jerri, as the new Mogo Mogo has a numbers advantage on them going into the merge which I think will happen next week.

I love Kathy this time around. But last night I wanted to reach through the screen and slap some sense into those 4 women of the new Chapera tribe, and tell them to vote off Lex! It would have showed some strength and some "don't f**k with us" game-playing savvy. It's like everyone on that tribe looks into Lex's (beautiful) blue eyes and becomes mesmorized... "Yes master. Whatever you say master."

I loved last night's episode. Thought it was the best of the season, actually. The Rob/Amber love affair and drama is extremely compelling. I thought Rob was going to start bawling, in fact.

An aside: Lex *does* have great eyes.

I'm worried for Alicia and have been for a while. Again, her personal trainer approach to life does not serve her well in Survivor at all, so I was both excited and a little worried that Boston Rob apparently reaches out to her next week. He has to go back on his word to someone and I'm afraid it's her.

Why, why, WHY?!? would someone keep Tom around?

Oh well, no use cryin' over split tribes...oops, I mean, spilt milk...
bobby78751
Why, oh why, would anyone keep Amber around? Does anyone think Rob will chose someone else other than Amber to go to the finals with him? This was their only chance to get rid of someone from the other side and they failed.

I agree about RetardTom...that bastard makes me ill. As a matter of fact, with the exceptions of ShiDevil and Alicia, the rest of them can all go to hell! I miss my Colby.

Already, the finer touches of the show - the natural drama, editing and the camera shots, are distinguishing this installment from others.

The crack is his voice, the way he quickly wiped away his tear... The best shot, though, was the shot that caught Rob looking at Amber when she was looking straight on at Jeff. Was a great shot.

ARGH! Survivor is already on! Damn the f**ked up Hoosier time. Feel free to post any spoilers for the God forsaken people in Indiana.

Wow, fantastic showing from Kathy. Honestly, I would have NEVER expected it... HUGE fight between Lex and Boston Rob. The immunity challenge looked incredibly hard and I feel for Lex. He's got to be kicking himself right now. Tough, tough, TIGHT finish...
timber07
Lex! What goes around comes around bud! Remember Lex giving Ethan the speech a couple weeks ago? "I'm sorry I have to vote you out. I know we are good friends. This is just business." I was ROFLMAO! Now Rob gives Lex the exact same speech.

I say again, Kathy was my pick to win this thing before it even started. Looks like she now has NOTHING to lose. She is free to round up any and all people who want to stick it to Rob and Amber.

Rob and Amber are becoming a two headed monster. This monster will only grow stronger and stronger every week it is allowed to survive. These players are not rookies. Kathy is going to spread the miscontent next week. We'll see how successful she is. Go Kathy!
SoFlaSpartan
Oh, Lex got what he deserved. The smart move was to vote out Amber last week, and instead they voted out Jerri -- STUPID!! And then Rob screwed him over. And what was with Shii Ann voting for Lex, you think? Sounds like she's cut herself a deal....
charcas67
I don't think Shii Ann cut any kind of deal--she's just scrambling by voting for Lex. I am not impressed at all by Shii Ann's play this time out--a totally Darrah type of Under the Radar strategy. Even Amber showed more initiative and strategic play on Outback than Shii Ann has shown on All Star.
bobby78751
Lex's expression when Kathy said, "I've thought about it and...I'm keepin' it!" That was freakin' awesome! smile.gif Like I said last week, keeping Amber was the biggest mistake of the game so far. I expect Amber to backstab Rob before he does it (!) to her. smile.gif If RetardTom talks about a momma's titty in another episode, I'm throwing my TV out the window! He's done it two or three times now and I am totally repulsed. Censorers, where are you????
MarinerFan
I think we can expect to see a 'pagonging' of the remaining 'new chapera' tribe. I think we see who the final four is last night as well. It was very smart of Hagrid aka Rupert to take Ambore and Jenna with him. He knows Ambore is in tight with the Robfather. I predict they are the final 4. Then it will be a free for all.

I was glad to see some physically taxing challenges and to see EPMB not give them more food for crying out loud.

I do think the Robfather and Ambore have made a critical mistake with their gameplay. They essentially have a deal with everyone, and when they have to turn on those deals will come back to haunt them at the final tribal council if either of them are in the final 2.

There is no way Lex or Kathy would ever give their votes to the Robfather or Ambore for the million bucks and with a jury of 7 they have lost 2 votes already, that does not bode well for either of them.

Mike smile.gif
timber07
I think its clear to everyone left in Survivor that Rob and Amber hope to be the final two. The jury would have to give one of them the money. Right now it is 6 against 2. These players are not dumb, and I think Kathy is going to seriously still the pot next week. Anyone hoping to advance in this game on the coat tails of Rob and Amber would have to be very foolish.

Every week the other players let both of them hang around the harder it will be to get rid of them. I think Kathy will see some success next week, and assuming there will not be two immunities I expect either Rob or Amber to say goodbye.
Nascar007
Well, I have been followig the voted-out list that was printed before this Survivor started. And the vote out order has been dead on accurate, which makes it a credible spoiler list. Bottom line: Amber and Boston Rob are the final 2.
dznerick
Nascar....I know what you mean, before this show started, I read on here by mistake that Rob and Amber were in the final two.....and it seems like that is the way it is going to be...

Hopefully this spoiler will get spoiled!...and if it does come down to the two....hopefully Amber will win and then dump on Rob...or Rob will win and dump Amber then come find me and take me away! HA

I hadn't seen it before. If you are going to post a spoiler please have some sort of disclaimer so that people who do not want to know will not see it.

Nascar, Jesus f**king Christ. Last time you posted this spoiler without warning several people pointed out to you what a f**king rude thing it was to do. Now, you do it again.

Timber.......POSSIBLE SPOILER....I don't know if it a spoiler or not. I am 99.9 percent sure I read it on here....I don't know if it is true.....The only thing I remember reading was about Rob and Amber, it seemed at the time it was talking about them being the final two....but after watching it, it could have been talking about them two hooking up!.....I didn't finish reading it, because I didn't want to know the whole thing.

smile.gif Pacer I don't know whether you were trying to be funny or a smart ass here, but I took it as funny. NASCAR's post indicated more than you did. He said that the vote off list was accurate up to now, so he assumed the rest of it was accurate as well. He then went on to tell who the final two survivors were. No warning was given to those of us who like to feel surprised when they watch a reality TV show.

This is a friendly forum and I would like to think of us all as friends. Apparently NASCAR has done this before. He was asked by others not to do it again. I can only assume he gets some kind of weird jollies by coming onto this forum and ruining TV shows for the rest of us.

I have seen spoilers on here before. But, they were clearly posted as spoilers. They gave us the opportunity to either read or not read the post.

Is that too much to ask?

Timber....wasn't trying to be a smartass or funny, just honest.... smile.gif

BostonRob voting on Kathy:
"You don't honestly think I was going to let you win" (slight glare at the camera)

Yeah, he's arrogant, but that brief scene was HOT.

B Man ... or anyone else,

Who was voted out tonight? I'm assuming it was Kathy, although since Indy is now on CDT, I don't want to wait an hour to find out.

Thanks,
Nick
SelesFan91
Kathy got the boot tonight.
MarinerFan
The Robfather lost another jury vote last night. What a stupid player. The only way he will have Kathy's vote is if Ambore is in the final two with him. Why didn't he get rid of the Shii-devil???

The challenge was a really good one. I wish we would see more challenges like these. I was glad to see Kathy and Shii-devil call Robfathers letter ploy a strategic move and not based on being a nice guy. I imagine that lame ass video of his brother wouldn't have been worth watching anyway...

Kathy was dead on about the numbers, and Alicia and Big Tom will pay for their lack of moving when they had the opportunity to break the solid alliance of Ambore, Rob, Hagrid, and Jenna.
Nascar007
What was up with that silly Mohawk haircut Lex showed up with.He looked like a warrior from that awful Mel Gibson film "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome".

It looks like Amber will win the million. The jury will never award Rob.

It may have something to do with all the bugs. Colby shaved his head after he was booted, and said in an post boot interview it was because of the bugs.
Jorel
As tough as Rob comes across, it was kind of refreshing to see him cry when he read his letter.

Even though it was a strategic move, I also think it was nice of him to give up his brother's video and share his win with the rest of the cast.

If the remaining survivors were smart, they'd vote Rob off the first chance they get. He's the strongest player (physically) and he could win most of the immunity challenges.
maxallen
Yeah, so, the mowhawk was kinda silly, but Lex being Lex, it didn't surprise me.

I am completely skeptical of "spoilers" that say Rob and Amber are the final two. Even on the best of spoiler message boards, true spoilers have been very rare in past seasons. To me, the fun of reading spoilers is finding out if they are true or not, and usually they are not. So if you think the rest of Survivor was spoiled by Nascar's posts, I say stay tuned. You never know for sure.

When someone becomes as powerful as Rob is now, they usually get voted out at the first opportunity. Of course he could win his way to the final two by winning immunity every time, but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Amber will make it with him.

Tom and muscle girl were stupid to not team up with Kathy and the Shii-Devil (she's not very devil-ish this time around) to vote out Amber last night.
Skiguy
I disagree with all the people who think Rob is screwing himself with the jury.

He's been playing the game masterfully, and I think most of the jury members will realize that he deserves the $$. Mind you, he'll need to keep his immunity streak going to get to the final 2, but if he makes it that far, I don't think the jury would give it to whoever is left.

Lex, Kathy and Shii Ann would -- maybe -- vote against Rob (I think the Shii-devil kind of has the hots for him, and knows what a smart player he is), but the others -- Rupert, Tom, Jenna, Alicia, and Amber -- all know that Rob is repsonsible for getting them however far they get, and I think they'll stay loyal to him on the jury.

If they can get rid of Rob before the final 2, they might, because they all know he's the best player out there, but that depends on someone else leading the conspiracy to do it, and I just don't think any of the others are crafty or charismatic enough to be the new alpha dog.

I see Rob winning it.
Nascar007

Skiguy:

Amber -- Rob the final 2,

I see Rob winning it.
Skiguy...Yes!, you have a point. Amber might not be able to "get by on a smile". The jury could recognize that she breezed her way to the final 2, on Rob's coat tails.
dznerick
I really think before too long, either Rob or Amber will go home...

These are all-stars....why would they let two tribe members who "have something going on" coast to the end? Neither one will get rid of one or the other.....are they that stupid?? Well, I guess Lex was, huh!

If they do get to the final, I suspect Rob will win, because he is playing the game....but I think, when it comes down to 5, we can expect one of them to go!

They should add a twist and have the jury have a "vote" in tribal counsel. That would be interesting, since the the jury, wouldn't really know what was going on and who was getting voted off. That would put a "spin" on things....I think I'll write CBS for the next Survivor about this. smile.gif

pacerpride:
Rob or Amber

Rob will win, because he is playing the game
Pacerpride is right. Rob is hungry for the million, and he isn't going to let anyone stand in his way, not even his mistress Amber.
TC
Much like Brian from two(?) seasons ago, Rob right now has the physical edge in immunity challenges. That is a huge edge. And yes, all those other guys are fools if they don't try to get Amber or he out next. Rupert is so well-liked if he could get to the final 2, I think he'd win. But again like Brian, it just seems like Rob is cruising along.
timber07
Every time someone on Survivor thinks they are in control of everyone else they get booted off the show. It's hard for me to believe that "All Stars" could be dumb enough to let both Rob and Amber survive until the end.
NoLongerHere
Very compelling.

I honestly did NOT believe Shi-Ann would win immunity. I appreciate how Shi Devil played the game: in their faces. f**k every single one of them, Rupert excluded.

I was so pissed at Alicia for not even listening to Shi Devil's pre-immunity pitch. Why the f**k wouldn't she even listen??? And why the hell would she scold Shi Devil after her immunity celebration?

What f**king game is Alicia playing??!?

I had been feeling so sorry for Alicia until tonight. I thought people were misunderstanding her personal trainer communication style. Tonight, she gave the producers plenty of material to make her look like a straight up witch. I bet Alicia is kicking herself now.

How dare *anyone* left begrudge Shi Devil's joy? It's not her fault they're a bunch of gloating liars.

OK, they're heading to tribal council. Can't wait to see the looks on Cathy and Lex's faces.

Wow. You know I think it was Shi Ann, not Alicia that BLEW it tonight. When Shi Ann won immunity she needed to approach Rupert, Alicia and Jenna. She needed to tell them, in no uncertain terms, that it was now or never, this was their opportunity to get rid of Rob.

She needed to put emotions aside and play the game. This was not the time to gloat. Yes, you won immunity, but the task should not have ended there. I felt that she could have formed an alliance with Rupert, Alicia and Tom if she only would have put forth more effort. Every week that passes makes Rob more and more unbeatable.
NoLongerHere
I dunno, timber... Cathy tried what you said last week to no avail. Shi Ann tried to build alliances before the immunity challenge, and afterward no one wanted to hear what she said.

Why should she suck up and humiliate herself? Play with pride! Don't go out having sucked up only to be duped.

I don't think Shi Devil believes for a second that she's going to win, or even get into the final two or three. She said as much tonight. Methinks the best she can do is try to outlast Jenna and/or expose Rob for the liar he is or Tom and Rupert for the spineless wussies they are, too.

I think you were right on, though, with your disbelief in a previous post. These "All Stars" are passively letting Rob and Amber drive this thing.
Munson Man
Was anyone able to make out what Alicia said to Shi-Ann after she lost the immunity challenge? I reran it several times but couldn't decipher her comments.......
