Does anyone remember that book WORKING OUT by Charles Hix? It was one of the best workout/erotica around. Hairy man on the cover. Just so wonderful. I still have a copy.

There was a similar "exercise" book in the 1980's that disguised its homoerotic angle a bit more, but it was still easy to see. It was put out by an allegedly hetero, married couple who were models, I think. The book was lavishly illustrated with exercises that couples could do together. The married couple started out together at the beginning, with the guy in baggy gym shorts. Then later on another couple entered the picture, and the guys decided to wear speedos. I remember that these guys end up doing "partner push-ups" together, with one guy on top of the other (still in speedos). I guess they were trying to serve all audiences.

Hix also published a man's guide to style that was just as hot — in an '80s way — as "Working Out." When I was a teenager in Denver, I used to track it down and sneak glances at the studs whenever I went to the Tattered Cover bookstore — assuming, of course, my family wasn't around.
Are either of those books still in print? I can't recall the title of the style guide, but I can remember the hotties' bodies and faces without any trouble.

Does anyone have any favorite workout/eyecandy videos? I'm currently watching ABNATOMY with
David Sloniegura. This guy is sexy. The video is misleading though. On the back and cover, he's in these compression shorts, but in the video, he exercises in those nylon athletic pants.
The good thing about the video is that he's shirtless throughout. And he does these gyrating movements on the exercise ball that is absolutely mesmerizing. His second video is abnatomy 2. Same cover. I may buy it with the gullible hope that this time he's wearing the shorts!
Does anyone have
Better Sex through yoga for Gay Men? Looks hot.
Also, I REALLY want to see hunky David Snively in
Carribean Workout on Fit-TV. Only, I don't know when its on. There is one version with some girl that I keep catching. I want the boy version!

I saw this book a few months ago in a used bookstore. Many of the pages were stuck together. Some guy had been having alot of fun when he owned that book. I didn't buy it. YUCKY STICKY.

Charles Hix's other late 70s/early 80s book was [i]Looking Good[i], a guide to grooming, dressing well, and of course male models in various states of dress and undress. I remember that Gentlemen's Quarterly at that time was far more homoerotic than it is today, though it was all sort of couched in a "don't ask, we won't tell" kind of vibe. The editors knew exactly what they were doing; they just couldn't say what it was they were doing. To this day, thanks to this quasi-gay porn, I think men in Speedos make me as hard, if not harder, than men with their Speedos off. Ah, happy memories of being a closeted undergrad . . . most of it was pretty awful, but I loved this part of it.
