Watched the Academy of Country Music Awards last night and, again, couldn't help but notice how many truly HOT country singers there are -- and they don't mind showing what they've got in a pair of tight, faded jeans. Faves: Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw (whose oh-so-hot perfect chest was covered by a white t-shirt but still had on a nice pair of form-fitting jeans.) I don't especially like country music but can't take my eyes off these guys when they're on TV.

Ira? Ha ha just kidding. The hot guy in Trick Pony is Keith burns. Go their website & check out the video for "On A Mission" He has his shirt unbuttoned througout the video.
And Clay Walker's unbuttoned jeans in the "I Cna't Sleep" video. How about when he's sitting on the bed, jeans half unbuttoned, and then he leans back on the bed. Wow. Sexiset thing I've seen in videos in a long time. Last year I saw him in concert and I was about 20 feet from him and I ended up getting one of his picks. I am in love with the man.

I agree with all! Clint Black is cute, although his younger, less famous brother is AMAZING! He used to perform at local bars in Houston, including the BRB, but he was not gay...darn it.
Also, Shania's bass player has got GUNS FOR DAYS! I got front row seats for her South Florida show, so I'll be scoping him out!

It's hard to decide who looked best last night, but I think I'm going to go with Troy Gentry, from Montgomery Gentry. They opened the show and Troy, who must be about 6'4" or so, has never looked better than he did with his tight jeans and unbuttoned shirt, which showed off all that thick chest hair.
I like Dierks Bentley, too. I'm not usually a big fan of curly hair on a guy, but his sets him apart. When they were talking to him before the Flameworthy Awards, he happened to lift his shirt and you could see the waistband of his white briefs sticking out of his jeans. His stomach looked so flat.
MiamiSpartan mentioned Shania's bass player. Do you mean Cory Churko, the dark-haired guy who plays different instruments? There are some nice pics of him on his website (corychurko.com). She has several hot guys in her band, but he always stood out.
I also agree about Keith Burns from Trick Pony. He seems like he would have some chest hair, too, but looks like he shaves it. And whose jeans were tighest? Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, or Brad Paisley?
Too bad Toby Keith swept the awards show.

I love Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw. I met Tim McGraw and got his autograph about 4 years ago when I worked for Budweiser. He is sponsored by Bud Light and the Bud Light Brand Manager (who was family) pulled some strings for me and got my partner and I concert tickets and backstage passes. That was when the Dixie Chicks were opening for him. That was the most awesome concert I have ever been to in my life and I have been to two Bruce Springsteen concerts!!! (sorry Bruce fans) I have often wondered about ole Kenny. Hmmmm wink The last time I saw him it looks like he had been working out and was buffed up. He is pretty H-O-T too!! Kenny and Tim live right across the street from each other just outside of Nashville. Very nice houses and neighborhood. Its been a few years....all I remember is Faith Hill was playing some big multi-guest concert @ Rice Stadium in Houston...but...
The next morning I caught a Continental Flight to Nashville for business and sat right next to Tim McGraw for the flight. I honestly didn't even really look twice at him when he sat down, I just sorta smiled (to acknowledge) him and that was about it. He DID NOT look anything like his photographs....he was dressed in a Faith Hill t-shirt, LOOSE baggy jeans, baseball cap and shoes, like Bass slip ons.. He had a small brief-case too.
I didn't even realize it was him until the flight attendant came up and started chit-chatting with him...about the concert the night before. I heard him say he had come to Houston to see his wife, but she was staying in town for another night. He was very polite to the flight attendant.
I got all sweaty once I realized who he was, but I still didn't say a word to him....I glued my head to the window and just watched outside while we were still on the ground. The flight attendant came over and asked us what we wanted to drink. I looked over and he made a waving gesture to me like "you first", so I order my Diet Coke and turned back and looked out the window. I don't remember what he ordered but I think it was a DC too. When she brought us our drinks, she reached over to hand it to me and he took it and handed it to me, I said "thanks" and he gave me a napkin and put it on my knee and that was the all the interaction I had with him.
I got a little taste of how annoying it must be to be a "Star". The poor guy was hassled by everyone and their brother before the "seatbelt" sign came on....and then an older couple sitting across from us would NOT stop talking to him....the woman just kept droning on and on....
He was polite to everyone and even signed some autographs, etc....once the flight took off, people pretty much let him be, except for the lady across the aisle. He finally pulled a magazine out and started attempting to "read" it to get her off his back, but she just kept it up. Once breakfast was served, she quieted down.
When the plane landed, he nodded my way as to say...."have a good one" and that was it.
What really surprised me was I saw him again down in baggage claim. He was all alone waiting for his luggage like everyone else....no entourage or security or anything. A few people went up to him and he signed autographs, but for the most part, he just waited for his luggage, picked it up and walked out of the terminal like everyone else.
I never really cared for his music, but he really struck me as pretty down to earth and nice to his fans....it struck me just how capable the "Star Machine" can be, because he really wasn't anything special in the looks/body department...he appeared just an average guy that most people wouldn't look twice at.

Here's a question about Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw. I know that the two of them shared a long tour a couple of years back and the rumor (stressing that it's just a rumor) I heard is that Chesney sang one song sitting on McGraw's lap. I'm not enough of fan of either of them to go to one of their concerts (rather see Emmylou Harris, Travis Tritt, Mary Chapin Carpenter, or Dwight Yoakum anyday) but did Chesney actually sing while sitting on McGraw's lap??

When I lived in Asheville, North Carolina my partner and I went to a lot of the PFLAG meetings with his Mother. They also had a group called C.L.O.S.E.R. which met every week for lesbians and gays. There was a guy there that said he had dated Randy Travis for about 3 years. Of course we said yeah right... sure you did. Well, when he had a covered dish dinner at his house some weeks later he showed us all his photo albums and tons of country singers he was friends with when he lived in Nashville. Right there in the albums were photos of him and Randy and they were not your typical fan photos. They were very believable as more than "just friends" photos. So, you know that marrying your manager that is old enough to be your Mother must be some attempt to cover-up something. Makes you wonder just how many celebrites go through this every day. Once the "star" earns more money than God you would think they would have some freedom to come out and tell their fan base this is who I am.

There was some concert footage I saw where Kenny runs across the stage and jumps into the arms of Tim and wraps his legs around Tim's waist. Is that what you are referring to? They stayed embraced for what seemed like a very long time. Of course that does not mean they are gay. They just have been really good friends most of their lives. You can see in Kenny's face that he thinks the world of Tim.
There was a documentary type show about Kenny Chesney and there was this big scene where his tour bus stopped at a Waffle House and they had a blast. There were tons of people there and they even let Kenny back in the kitchen to cook. There was this woman that kept flashing Kenny and he kept telling her to stop. She actually became very annoying with it. She was very cute too but Kenny seemed to be very embarrassed each time she flashed him.

Well I also think alot of "it" is wishful thinking on our part...not every good looking entertainer is gay....
I don't believe for a minute that Clint Black or Tim McGraw are gay....I've heard the rumors about Randy Travis...his star no longer shines that bright...in fact he is a regular on alot of those "Christian TV Evangelist" shows...which to me, only feeds the rumor. LOL
I can't remember the name of the guy....he was either from Oklahoma or Texas...but he was a fairly popular C&W singer that was caught somewhere here in Texas beating off in a rest stop bathroom....after it happened, he immediately got married and started talking about "Jesus"....can't recall his name.
Kenny Chesney is an apparent Momma's Boy who was fat as a kid...I don't know about him...I get the impression he is probably a bit more sophisticated (as is Tim McGraw) then his core fan base...so perhaps gay-friendly.
Problem for male stars is if they appear gay friendly....the gay community starts rumors that they're actually gay....

Everything I have read about him says he insists he isn't gay....etc...
http://www.livinglightnews.org/vcountry.htm "Spreading the Word
Fans can also look forward to seeing Ty Herndon this year. Herndon is no newcomer to country music. He has three albums, two No. 1 singles, and a multitude of accolades, inluding being named Best New Artist at the 1995 Country Radio Music Awards.
Though Herndon has experienced many blessings, his life hasn’t always been perfect. But like Berry, and members of Sawyer Brown, Ty Herndon’s faith in God has enabled him to overcome personal tragedy to find triumph.
Raised in Alabama, Herndon developed his vocal abilities singing southern gospel at church meetings and camps. Later he landed a job at Opryland in Nashville and attended college at Belmont University until his scholarship ran out. Then he supported himself singing jingles for American Airlines and Pepsi. However, he never got his break in music until he moved to Dallas and started playing honky-tonks. It was there that Herndon first began to gain national attention as a singer. In 1995 he debuted with What Mattered Most, which went gold and produced a No. 1 single.
But it was also in 1995 that Herndon found himself facing the worst time in his life. He was arrested for possession of speed and spent five weeks in rehab. It was an experience he says that helped him become a more spiritual person and somewhat of a “soldier.”
Now Herndon uses his own life experiences to inspire others who are going through similar problems. In fact, Herndon is one of seven major country artists, including Charlie Daniels and Ricky Skaggs, who volunteered to work with the American Bible Society (ABS) by telling others about the importance of the Bible in their lives. Herndon’s own story was one in a series of public service announcements distributed to 500 radio stations across the United States."
Notice how something else was left out of the arrest story?

The other little tibit about Ty's arrest(which was a few years ago) was that he was in Ft. Worth, Texas to sing at a Law Enforcement Convention. I believe he was married at the time of his arrest.
From what I remember, Ty placed the source of his behavior to the drugs. So, I guess it was "beyond his control"... mmmmmm
When he made his video "Steam"..the gaydar went off the wall. The style of the video just seemed to screamed "family". The focus of the sexuality was all about Ty. One of his other videos involving a failing relationship also seem to promote him as a hetrosexual sensual lover. If I remember that video correctly, the director showed more skin off Ty than they did of the woman.
I haven't heard too much from Ty on a professional basis lately. I think he released a song about year or so ago. Wonder if he is still married?
