It seems that Will Smith is tired of being called out by Wendy Williams. Hiphopmusic.com has reported that Smith released a diss track, “Mr. Nice Guy”, against her. The 2nd verse goes:
Will's a nice guy
Well he's so nice I'd
Let him date my daughter like he was a white guy
Not like the rest, he's a private flight guy
Well if I were gay on Friday night I'd...
Larry Elder (Uncle Tom)
You lucky I didn't make you the whole damn rhyme
Wendy Williams, you don't know me
I'm not your punching bag, you won't blow me
Up, girl better leave me alone
Before I buy your radio station and send ya home
This a warning show over the bough
Truth be told this ain't my style
You gotta understand some stuff a man can't allow
Better chill before you climb a tree you can't get down
Okay, people dissing Will sat on a wall
People dissing Will had a great fall
All the King's horses and all the King's men
Couldn't put none of their careers together again
Ya get it?
Now that she’s being syndicated nationally, Wendy Williams has been making quite a nuisance of herself lately, especially in Los Angeles. She’s been calling out quite a few celebs.

...Let him date my daughter like a white guy....
What the? Can someone explain this one to me? Are dating rituals that different among the races of this planet? Also, am I too out of the loop to know who Wendy Williams is? At first, I thought she might be a tennis player. Maybe I'm aging faster than I thought.

Shows why rap is an excellent medium for expressing emotions but an extremely poor, if not destructive, one for communication.
Will Smith seems to be a reasonably intelligent guy. Why doesn't he just say what he means in standard English - or is he afraid of a legal challenge? Perhaps he's somewhat ashamed of his feelings and wont expressed them more directly.
Did Williams dislike "Six Degrees of Separation"?

Yeah Wendy claims that his first wife divorced him because she caught him in bed with her Uncle.
Wendy just outed Mario Vasquez, claiming his boyfriend is a hair stylist in NYC. Also she said he has signed a recored deal with Bad Boy Records (P.Diddys label)

Perhaps the entire song is his speaking out many people or critics, not just one. We've only got part of the lyrics, but it doesn't seem that the entire song is directed at Wendy Williams. This portion...

...might sound like a quote from a white man (with some racist views) who finds Will Smith unthreatening enough to allow him to date his white daughter. However, from doing a little Googling it seems like it's an attack on Larry Elder. He's a radio talk show host who's black and seems to be very Republican in his views (hence the "Uncle Tom" reference in the song).

This would explain some of the homophobic things he said during the promotions of SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION.
I love watching her show on VH-1.

She reminds me of Kathy Griffin on speed.

she just makes of fun of the celebs that take themselves too serious. They should just talk to her on the red carpet and take a stab back, im sure she would laugh.

Mmm hm. That rumor has been around for quite a while. I remember hearing that around 1996. Quite frankly, I believe it.
And Will's taking shots at Wendy Williams
now? Bitch, please. I don't believe for a nanosecond that Will's a zero on the Kinsey scale. And that goes for Jada, too.

Wendy has claimed that Will Smith is dating Duane Martin (the actor, used to be on that Patti Labelle show years ago with cutie Morris Chestnut; now he's married to Tisha Campbell Martin, who played Martin Lawrence's girlfriend on his long-running show, "Martin"), etc.
She's also claimed that Dr. Ian Smith, a very telegenic NY-area TV personality and author, has had a 3-year relationship with NY Giants linebacker Michael Strahan, who is embroiled in a spectacular divorce from his wife. Supposedly when the wife was giving birth to their daughter, Strahan was palling around with Dr. Smith.
Wendy has previously "outed" or tried to out Q-Tip, Treach, Jada Pinkett Smith, Derek Jeter, Tyson Beckford, Jasmine Guy, and any number of other celebrities. She messed with P. Diddy, though, and found herself without a show a few years ago, so she tends to skirt dissing him, at least directly.
Larry Elder has a show on TV. He is a right-winger who traffics in interracial topics. I caught the show when I was traveling; I can't remember what channel it comes on. It's like he's stuck in 1975 or something.
Just wanted to add: Will Smith is obsessed with the "white girl" thing because he wanted to have a black woman as his love interest in "Hitch," but Hollywood execs supposedly were afraid that if they paired him with a black woman, it would turn off foreign audiences (and some US audiences, who'd see it as a "black movie"--even with KEVIN JAMES IN IT!!!), and if they paired him with a white woman, it would turn off American audiences, especially in the U.S. South (this is 2005, right?). So they paired him with Eva Mendes, who's of Cuban (mixed) ancestry. Supposedly neither Smith nor Mendes was happy--but Hollywood was. They're laughing all the way to the bank.

The beef between Will Smith and Wendy Williams seems to be heating up. She played his song on her show today and openly mocked both him and the song! She must have something on him. Wendy obviously isn’t afraid of any potential legal action by Will Smith. He may be making a mistake in trying to conduct a public argument with her. Wendy is going to ride him like a horse from now on. She’s called out quite a few people, but she usually doesn’t dwell on her outings. If you try to be smart or argue with her, that’s when she digs in her heels. Wendy has an ongoing feud with Star Jones and her husband, Al Reynolds. She calls them out and lambastes them at every turn.
Now that Will Smith has released a diss track against her, Wendy will probably take this as an open declaration of war. Since she’s now being syndicated in Los Angeles, she’s going rake him over the coals constantly! Let’s see if Will Smith buys her station and has her taken off the air...

What? Ya mean that hottie Dr. Ian Smith might actually make my dreams come true after all? wink
I had heard about the Will Smith rumors, and Jeter/Beckford thing before (I'm skeptical on that one. Tyson I can see, though I never thought Jeter was, except in my dreams.)

It just occured to me that Mike Strahan was one of the players interviewed for the book Bloody Sundays. Is Mike Strahan "Steve Thompson", the gay NFL player allegedly interviewed for Bloody Sundays? This assumes, of course, that Mike Freeman's reporting is on the up and up and that there really is a "Steve Thompson".

Looks like there may be some truth to the Michael Strahan - Ian Smith affair allegations that Wendy Williams talked about over a year ago. That is, if you believe his gold-digging wife who is in a VERY contentious divorce case with him.
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5717196Strahan wife: 'An alternative lifestyle sprouted' If Jean Strahan, the estranged wife of New York Giants star Michael Strahan, isn't careful, she's going to get flagged for unnecessary roughness.
According to a report in the New York Post, Jean Strahan said her husband engaged in an "alternative lifestyle" with his friend, television doctor Ian Smith, after the couple split in March 2005.
Jean Strahan made the allegations as she opened up to reporters outside the Essex County Family Court on Tuesday after her husband completed a second day on the witness stand in their divorce proceeding....

These guys might be gay, they might not. Do I particularly care? No. I'm not familiar with Wendy Williams' actual show..but I know she's into this kind of stuff. I don't like using "he's gay" as a slur, or as a provocative piece of bait to anger someone. Wendy is dissing gay people by her behavior. I don't care what grand illusions Hollywood stars are creating to hypnotize the pathetic masses who have nothing to do but read fan magazines and say "Supersize me." So when people like Wendy Williams (who could be very funny for all I know)"accuse" or "out" media celebrities of being gay, it's treating gay like it's a negative. Granted, if these folks are lying and cheating, then they're bound to get into trouble anyway, but if they're just protecting their privacy - which they have a right too - then she's just another scumbag feeding off the famous.

OH PLEASE Will!!!!

Miss Honey sit your ass down. I live in Philly and 3 of my cousins went to high school with Will Smith, and lived in Baltimore (where Jada is from). This is one that I don't even need to be curious about because I have heard from enough different people to know. This stuff is a mess. I love Wendy Williams. Yes, she talks some mess but she cracks me the hell up with her sound buttons and how you doin suggestions. I have met her a couple times. She was recently in Philly at Grape Street in Manayunk and I saw her again last week when she was in the area at book signings for her new book. I just think she's hilarious and while many can't stand her...she gets me through the day from 2-6
