I just discovered this guy and gawd is he hot. He was on a show called Surfside 6 and later played The Green Hornet on a short-lived TV show in the mid 60's. Just google "Van Williams" and sit back. He's, like, 70 now but back then....woof! I wonder whatever happened to him.

Yes well -

Pretty much in the closet too I would guess - he was a member of the 'velvet mafia' in Hollywood at that time. A group of VERY prominant movie execs and actors, who threw some rather incredible parties I am told...

They were apparently very sociable - but very discreet, and they kept their lifestyle out of the public eye in order to stay in the movie biz...

The velvet mafia continued throughout the 70's - 80's - witness the seduction of a certain Kentucky QB by R Hudson who after a U of K game invited the young man (who went on to be drafted by the Expo's) out to visit Hollywood - he went, and Rock put him into a movie then his latest TV project and them set him up in a couple more series afterward... The heartthrob in question played the part of ladies man to a generation of television viewers...

The 'Velvet Mafia' continues in people like D Geffen who has been known to throw some of the wildest parties Hollywood has ever seen. (I know, I attended one about 15 years ago when he still owned Geffen Records and Film; he had a small party for about ohhhhh 400 - where there was a procession of naked young men who came in dancing and supporting a 10' long erect penis; the party was 95% male, and there were some very suprising guests, TV stars, politicians, athletes, rock stars, etc.)

I'm sorry.....the links above to the main page, not the picture itself like I tried to do.

I'll try again here in a little while.

Van Williams did play a Batman-like character called 'The Green Hornet' with a sidekick/houseboy played by a young Bruce Lee. Now that was a dynamic duo.

so Jack Scalia was one of Rock Hudson's toys? I had never heard that. Jack was and is one very handsome man!!!
TC
Scalia is currently married with kids. My opinion on outing any celebrity is unless he's s***** your d***, you ought not drop names.

If he is s****** your d*** you certainly ought not drop names. You might hit him in the head.

Since when has "married with kids" ever had a damn thing to do with sexual preference? I am sure we all know dozens if not hundreds os married men who play the field.
TC
Dozens?/ Hundreds? Not sure where you hang out but I know (repeat, KNOW) maybe two married guys who, as you say, "play the field".
