And to Bryan. I won't attack you personally. I'm not on drugs. I can dislike Kathy G and still be a good citizen of gayland. SO SHALOM TO YOU. OM MANI PADME HUM.

You're uninformed and hypocritical. Rosie simply said something like this is what it must sound like in China when an announcer mentions my name and then went on to do some silly imitation - that's not racist or anything else, just a slightly poor taste joke.
Elemental - your repetitious and tedious postings trashing Kathy Griffin are more abusive, rude, and derogatory than anything she says...Both Rosie and Kathy are comedians, it's humor...

My last comment on this topic. What Rosie said about Chinese people WAS RACIST. Several Chinese American groups took offense at what she said. Most Chinese people speak better English than native speakers. NUFF SAID.

Actually Whitney USED to have the voice of an angel until she chose to abuse drugs that would partly and probably disrupt tissues around the vocal cords. I hope her next album is terrific- but she has to prove she still has it. If it is even remotely decent, she will sweep the Grammy's pretty much. The question is- does she have it.
And I am sorry- anyone who is filmed acting completely ridiculous and high on whatever and uses the phrase "Crack is whack" during a major film network interview- is definitely a target for comedians.
If you want a list of the people who have not made fun of Whitney, it would be a very short list...
KATHY GRIFFIN is AWESOME. I absolutely love her, she is hysterical, she is crude, she is totally crazy and I love her for it.

Not enough said, Elemental...it wasn't racist, you don't know what you're talking about...and if you despise Kathy so much, why don't you get off this topic.
Thanks, kick, for clarifying why Whitney is fair game..."Crack is wack" is one of the silliest stupidest moments in TV interview history. Work it, Kathy. Plus, Being Bobby Brown is basically a drug trip, right?
Such a hot topic!
The comparisons to Joan Rivers/KG are right on. Second-tier comedienne's star rises after she starts bashing celebrities (remember Rivers' Elizabeth Taylor jokes) and woos gay audiences. Both seem almost pathetic to be in the limelight altho KG's seems more staged than Rivers'. Griffiths is sortof Rivers-Lite on the Red Carpet. Both have had major plastic surgery, perhaps only for the attention it got them. It was paid for by Entertainment Tonight and got KG on Oprah. That's kinda pathetic if you ask me.

I'm excited about Kathy hosting (well, it's HOSTED) the Gay Porn Awards! (Hell, for six years, I've worked at a store part time that sell gay porn!) My co-worker, Trent, went to this and said he had a wonderful time.

Ok, off the subject, forgive my ignorance and in all respect, what does, 'om mani padme hum', mean?
Now, back on subject, I apologize for calling KG a 'C' word in my earlier post. She doesn't deserve that status. But I still don't like her or her brand of humor. Now when I hear her take on Ann Coulter, I'll bump her up a notch.

Damn, I missed KG last night (we watched Rick and Steve on Logo instead). Did I miss anything good?

Actually, she did a brilliant job at the GayVN Awards! And it was fun seeing a few of the guys I know & I've met in person at the show. That was AWESOME!!
Kathy also did a great job performing in the mens' and womens' prison in Arizona.
I'm looking forward to seeing next week when Kathy premieres the first season on her show (and her stand up) in the UK!!

Since Elemental probably won't post for
another month or so I looked up
what it means....Cont 'bout Kathy.
Glad she did the prison shows. I'll have to check out the reruns. She's contributed to the church I attend (she's good friends w/ one of our members Jane Wilson, also a comedian). Thanks.

I saw her this past Tuesday in DC, she was hilarious! She made a very big deal out of this ad, it was very much like her thing in Seinfeld where she mocked Jerry using his lawyer's cease-and-desist letter.
For what it's worth, the crowd was about 90% gay, but not many hotties in the crowd best I could tell (myself excluded, of course), except for one guy who was totally cute but who was probably actually straight, seemed to be with his girlfriend. But then I was with a friend who was a girl, and I'm quite gay, so who knows? At any rate, I must say, my fellow gays make some very questionable fashion choices, that's for sure. Either they're trying way to hard or hardly trying, there was very little middle ground in this crowd, anyway. I was real and I was spectacular, of course.

Kathy's coming to New York (the theater at Madison Square Garden) and I've got my tickets. Can't wait. I've never seen her live and her Bravo shows are so edited and bleeped that they don't have quite the same impact.

Kathy was back in NYC this weekend at the theater at Madison Square Garden...sold out show. She was great as usual. She hit her usual targets-Ryan Seacrest, Jessica Simpson, Miley Cyrus. She was on stage for at least 1:45. Her stories about the Emmys and James Gandolfini were a riot.
And she's raising money to help train dogs that assist injured Iraq War vets. A really great cause. A vet in a wheelchair came out on stage with his dog before Kathy's show...really touching story.

She didn't mention Clay this time out.
