Have you ever seen this show on the discovery channel? Rowe is really handsome in a rugged way and has a very nice voice. He does all sorts of dirty jobs for sewage work to artifically inseminating horses. I started watching it to see his good looks. Last night he had no shirt on and was so hairy and hot. The slight wrinkles on his face give him alot of character. He's 44.

Theee have been episodes where he's made double entendres with a decidely gay twist, and looked into the camera in a knowing way. One that comes to mind is the episode where he viisits a cheese factory, and he's applying lubricant to a stopcock for one of the vats. He makes an aside about lube that could only come from a "family" member.

I saw the episode where he worked at the volcano ash company. They had large vats of mud made from the volcanic ash and Mike got to test one of the vats out. They had him undress and put on a robe. He then had to work himself into the vat with the help of a male caretaker. It was pretty nice. They used the blur to block all the best parts. Hmmmm, I wonder if the DVD set shows everything without the blur? wink

I DVR'd the episode and watched it tonight! He DOES have an awesome body -- love the hairy chest especially! At the end of that segment, he was hitch-hiking in his towel (and muddied)... I would've definitely stopped for him!

Just caught cutie Mikey on Oprah. Todays subject was questions you want answers to. One of the qeustions, she wanted to know where the poop went after you flushed it. Mike told us all about it, and more than you wanted to know too. He also talked about some of the nastiest jobs he has been doing on his show. He looked as cute as ever.

I had missed that episode, but they aired it again last night, and WOW!!! What a body he has! Just the right amount of fur!

I get his show every Saturday morning at 11:00am, and drool over him each time then. He is one hell of a hot man!

Check out the episode in which he joins cheesemakers in New England. He is putting together a valve on one of the vats, and is instructed to apply lube to it. I don't remember his exact words, but he seemed to know way too much about the application of lube, and gave some looks to the camera while saying them that made me think he might be one of us.

I saw that one, and thought to myself, Oh my God, what did he just say!!!??

Did anyone see "Jobs That Bite" for Shark Week??? Mike was shirtless (and FURRY!!) throughout most of the show! He looked amazing....

If you're interested in seeing Mike in his younger days, YouTube has several videos of him from when he was on QVC in the early 90's. I think he's much hotter now, but he was quite handsome then, and his dry sense of humor was well intact at the time, too. My favorite is one where he's selling a karaoke machine and is singing "My Way" by Sinatra, and he actually has an excellent singing voice.

Mike used to sing at some opera according to wikipedia. He does have a great speaking and singing voice. I knew he was on QVC but I never really watched it. I will check out the younger clips of him on youtube. YUM.

The other thing I didn't know about Rowe until fairly recently is that he has done a huge number of narrations of different programs for a number of shows on the Travel Channel. I should have recognzied that sexy voice sooner, but I came acorss it one day when reading the credits on a travel channel show.

I have changed my mind about Rowe as well. Yes, he's a handsome man. He looks like an older man even though he's in his late fourties. But the cruelty to animals on his show turns me off. On a recent show Mike Rowe was castrating sheep. He has done other cruelties to sheep, cattle, chickens and other animals. He was force feeding geese for 'pate foi gras ' on one of his shows. Joy Behar of the View has been a critic of gourmet foods such as foi gras which involves such incredible cruelty to animals. Mike Rowe does all of these stunts for ratings. I personally am appalled by it all. SHALOM.
