Who'd have thunk it? The Twins became the second team to clinch a playoff spot today by virtue of their victory over the Indians and the White Sox loss to the Yankees. Its the Twins first playoff appearance since 1991, when they won the whole shebang. Clearly they are the inferior to the Yanks, A's and Angels, but you never know...!

Anyone wanna bet that if the Twins get 3 wins in the World Series, Bud will call in sick when they have a chance to clinch it?

On the brief clip they showed on SportsCenter of the Twins spraying each other with beer and champers, A.J. Pyrzinski (sp?) got in a dig at "their best friend, Bud Selig". Way to go A.J.!
