LOGO, the new LGBT cable channel from MTV Networks and Viacom is developing a documentary project about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Republicans and we’d like to hear your story.
If you are an LGBT Republican and are interested in sharing your story on camera, tell us what’s going on in your life this spring and how it relates to your personal and political life.
We’re interested in documenting a process or following events in your life as they unfold.
We are interested in hearing stories about…
* Any goals or accomplishments you are looking
to achieve politically or economically
* Dating a non-Republican
* Discrimination within your community, gay or
Republican
* Concerns about sharing your political ideology
to your friends
* Working for or lobbying the current
administration
* Your involvement with your spiritual/religious
community
PLEASE E-MAIL US AT: LogoGOP@mtvstaff.com
*Be sure to include your name, age, a picture if you have it and full contact information in your note (address, phone, e-mail, and best times to reach you). Tell us as much as you can about what your story is and what would happen if our cameras documented your life.
We look forward to hearing from you!

What's going in the typical gay rethuglican's life: I hate myself...I hate my community...I hate myself...I worship W...I hate myself. God bless Merikuh!

I wonder if PhillyFan will "share his story."

Only if he can sit at his keyboard...because that is how he is fighting the evildoers--with keystrokes.

I just wonder how their recruitment is going...maybe about as well as the U.S. Army! Have any of the neo-cons on this board contacted them? It sure would make for some humorous television.

I'm a 'Recovering Republican.' I was registered until '96. I actually believed in what they stood for...less gov't, freedom for all, etc., etc. Then the 'big tent' came crashing down right on our heads. I'm amazed at how quickly the right-wing religious zealots have completely taken over the party.

I had the exact same reaction. If they're interested in the experience and POV, I don't see why a picture is necessary.

Weren't they (or someone else) doing a similar documentary about gay athletes, and they wanted a certain (young) age range?
Yup...
found the link to the other thread! And it wasn't just that they wanted people 21-40 -- they were looking for people who
appeared to be 21-40.
