Full Version: HGTV Hunks
Have any of you guys checked out some of the hot guys on HGTV? They've got some really hot carpenters and designers. There are two carpenters on "Designed to Sell" (the LA shows) named Steve Hanneman and Brooks Utley (which would be a great name for a porn star) who look sooo good with a tool belt on. There's another carpenter on a show called "Get Color" named Matt Hunter, which I think is actually a Canadian production. Any others I've missed?
I'm in the Valley so I'm guessing you now have TimeWarner, no?! What time are they on? I've got to check 'em out. I love a man in a tool belt!

Yes I do have TimeWarner Cable. HGTV is on Channel 54. Fortunately, "Designed to Sell" is on often. It's on Sunday nights at 8:00 and 8:30 and starting on September 11, is will be on every weeknight at 8:00 p.m. "Get Color" has been on Friday nights at 8:00 and Saturday afternoon at 2:00. Is it really lame that I didn't have to check the listings to know this? Oh, by the way, check out another show called "Bad, Bad Baths", which is on Tuesdays at 8:30 for another carpenter named Steve Whittle. He's got that geek look going that I am crazy about, and he's tall and lean. He's awesome with his toolbelt on.

Brien Blakely host of "Week-end Warriors" is one hot hunk of manhood. I think they have a new host now but catching reruns of his shows is well worth it.
The carpenters on the shows are hot- but I love when they get some husband to help along with the project- and you see them sweating like crazy...
I like Garrd Swanson from Generation Renovation. I also think David from "Design Star" is hot -- especially when he's shirtless!!

I'm so jealous of the FOX news watchers in Charlotte. Would love to have Brien Blakely anchoring here in Minneapolis. I'd even watch FOX for that.

Last night's episode of "Designed to Sell" had a new team in Alexandria, VA. The host was a guy named Shane something, who looked great, and two new carpenters, Matt and John. They weren't wearing tool belts, but still looked hot. Hope they shot more episodes there.

My architect has a new show coming on this Sunday, October 1 on HGTV. Barry Wood is the designer of a new show called "Hidden Potential" that airs at 8:30 P.m. (Eastern & Pacific, not sure about the other time zones). I need everyone to watch so he gets really famous and my house increases in value. And he's really hot, too.
And yes, btmuscle, David Bromstad is a total hottie. I loved that he kept insisting on taking his shirt off and that Clive Pierce mentioned that on the final show.

Sorry I hadn't responded, but I was offline for awhile. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but Barry is straight (I met his girlfriend last month when he came out to my remodel party). I have told him frequently that with his design flair, and my total lack of design skills, that he's more gay than I am. You will be happy to know that they are currently filming the second season of Hidden Potential, though he is only going to be doing 7 of the 13 episodes due to how much time and work it takes. So to answer your question, he probably doesn't like redheads of the male persuasion, but I do.

You guys have it all wrong! I watched a whole series of episodes of "House of Bryan" featuring Bryan Baeumler from HGTV Canada. He is definitely hot.
In one of the last episodes aired today, Bryan installed a man cave and a steam room/bathroom featuring a urinal. I laughed as his wife turned up her nose at the urinal and when Bryan told her he would never have to lift up the seat to use it! Also, Bryan's helper, Adam is cute but clueless. He seemed to have puppy dog eyes for Bryan.
