OK, I admit it. I'm a closeted American Dreams fan. Is anyone else into the show? Although, Paris Hilton as Genie (Barbara Eden is a MAJOR stretch).

ANYWAY - there is talk that they may cancel it even though it ranks in the top 20 among college views and is #9 in percentage of viewers 25 to 54 who make more than $110,000 a year (where do they get these stats?).

If you are a fan there are two liks www.save-americandreams.com and www.petitiononline.com/savead/petition.html you can hit to voice your approval of the show.

Don't know if it's the fact that it's a microcosim of my life,or the music,or the men-ok it's all 3 wink -but I love American Dreams.I can't think of a single show that ever had so many hot men on it.Tom Verica (Jack) and Will Estes (JJ) are both total studs.I'm a little frustrated that Jack is such a prude and never takes off his t-shirt,but I have screencaps of him shirtless from a different show so I'll survive. And the hottest guy was actually the young radical from Penn that Meg broke up with,so I hope they write him back into the script.

The music is awesome-some nights the song choices just blow me away.Tonight as they cut away they're playing Springfield-Stills singing "Sit Down I think I Love You".And last season they had James Taylor's son Ben in a featured role as a singer in a coffeehouse. Classic Motown, the Stones,Dylan doing "Times They Are A Changin"-every episode I find myself singing along.I'm actually glad they moved it from Sun night-now I don't have to switch back and forth from "Arrested Development."

I REALLY like Meg's radical next door neighbor friend who was in her school play. He is HOT! I haven't seen it, though, since before Christmas. And now that it's on Wednesday's, I'll probably not see it, again.

agreed. I think moving it to Wednesdays was a mistake. Sunday night (esp. now that football season is over) is where it's best suited.

I never watched it again after it moved to Wednesday night and sure enough a lot of other people didn't, either. The move to Wednesday night ended up killing the show.
