I invite you all to read a spring training column by Bill Konigsberg, formerly of ESPN.com, who has contributed to Outsports in the past.

Interesting column. But if I may ask, what's with the "formerly of" ESPN.com?

Formerly??? What happened? Did this happen after he came out?
Jim at Outsports
He took a job with the Associated Press, to allow him to do more writing. Says it's going great.

Bill is a total hottie. Love those hairy forearms, rowrrrr.....Of course, he might have to change his name to AP Bill now.....

Um, right, his article. Well, I'm all for the anti-Yankee sentiment. Not because I'm a Met's or BoSox fan, but, well, just because I want some new faces representing the AL in the WS.

And the NL Central? Pish. The AL West is by far the toughest division in baseball. I suspect the M's are going to come back to earth this year, but they still have to be the favorite to win the division. Losing Giambi will hurt the A's, the Rangers didn't get any pitching and the Angels are, well, the Angels. I love 'em and they made some great moves in the offseason but it's just such a tough division that I can see all four teams going .500.
