Joe Mauer, the Minnesota Twins' catcher, leads the major leagues in hitting at .392, and he's hitting .456 in June.

"Everyone has his own theory," Twins Manager Ron Gardenhire said. "Mine is he's dating Miss America." No joke. Mauer, 23, is dating the 2005 Miss USA, Chelsea Cooley.

Hmmmmm.....maybe this is why self-admitted heterosexual Mike Piazza tends to hang out with Playboy playmates. wink

I'm hoping that Jose introduces Paris to some of his friends in the Russian mob and we never again hear from her. Then Jose Theodore will gain the love and respect of a grateful nation.

And anyway, Paris Hilton did nothing for Matt Leinart.
