Anybody out there think War Emblem can win the Triple Crown? His race in the Preakness was very impressive. He didn't rate all that well and they went in pretty fast fractions for the first half mile. I think if Baffert can just get him to relax a little more in the Belmont, he is going to be very tough to beat.

There are no living Triple Crown winners, so it would be appropriate.

War Emblem led from wire to wire at the Derby and looked very strong in the Preakness (despite the strong late surge by Magic Weisner). There's a lot of horse there and barring any strange happenings, I don't see why he can't walk off with the Triple Crown.

There were a lot of other horses who won the 1st 2 and gave out in the Belmont, so this could be just another fluke. Though War Emblem would give a good boost to the sport if he did win.
