This coming Saturday is the AFL Grand Final Between Brisbane & Collingwood.
Brisbane will be going into the match red hot favourites to win back to back premierships.
Collingwood is also a team that everybody loves to hate, so I will be supporting Brisbane.
Check your cable network for the time the match will be on. It will Friday night American time.

The Grand Final will be aired live in North America & Canada on Fox Sports World on Sept 27th at 8.30pm Pacific, 11.30pm Eastern .
I can guarantee it is worth a watch for the game & the hot men that play it.

Well it's 2 hours to go to the start of the game. It is raining & cool which will suit Collingwood but I still believe Brisbane will win.
I'm going to The Laird Hotel to watch the game on the Big Screen. One of the good things about Melbourne on Grand Final Day is that all the gay bars have the football on, so it is easy to watch the game with other gay sports fans.

Well the game is over. Brisbane won by 9 points to win back to back premierships. It was the closest Grand Finals in years. 92,000 were at the game.
At the Laird Hotel, where I watched the game, there were over 100 guys watching & getting into the game. It was great fum
Did anybody else watch the Game???

Fox Sports World aired the game live out here in San Francisco. While I wasn't able to catch all of the match, it looked like one hell of a show.
Wish I could have been there with you and the other 100 guys getting into the game...

I wish I could have but no show in the Philly area. Oh well, maybe Power will finally get there next year and I'll have the funds to actually see it live.

I watched the first half. It was an incredible match. No goal was scored until the final minutes of the first quarter! Things really seemed to be leaning toward Collingwood for most of the first half, but the Lions must have stood strong.
At the beginning, it seemed a combination of jitters and great defense by both teams, but nobody was kicking to target. The second quarter the ice seemed to break and there was some great play.
If only our Super Bowls were this competitive.

My first post on OutSports! Woo!
Anyway, I watched the Grand Final live last week. In my (mostly uneducated American) opinion, it was a fantastic match. Sloppy conditions at the G made it low-scoring, and Collingwood gave it a go to make the gave very tight.
One of these summers, I'm going to follow through and help get the Aussie Rules club here going.
