For me, it was Tyson's past stunts that made this even harder to believe, actually. Usually he seems to piss people off just because he can, so to do this instead of chewing the guy out...seems kinda odd.

Don't be ready to hand him 'Humanitarian Of The Year' just yet. The guy probably doesn't even know what 'homophobic' means.

So lets just forget the rapes, the domestic abuse, the bitings and all the other stuff because of some calculated, insincere jesture? Um, no, I don't think so.

As wacked as Mike is, and he is no doubt, I actually dont think he is homophobic or anything like that. The dude is a step below a normal man,lets be real, but I really dont think he has any feelings bad or good about gays. He has trouble demonstrating or explaing things so he lashed out and says things. So youd have to say he hates women, kids, other men, dogs, cats etc etc. Its just his cro magnon way of expressimg himself.

He's certainly got some serious emotional problems and with all the biting, etc., I get the sense that this guy is overloaded with anger and hate. Just as rape is not about sex, Tyson calling someone a fag or threatening to sodomize is more about anger than homophobia. He's a screwed up guy who's in the public eye which attracts all kinds of trouble. His level of anger and ego is like a loaded shotgun just waiting to go off. A very scary individual and somewhat sad as well.

Funny how contrite Tyson was in the post-fight interviews. He wasn't threatening to eat anyone's children or other such nonsense. He was, however, arrogant enough to offer himself for a rematch! I just hope no one is crazy enough to pay their hard earned money to help him collect another $20-30 million payday.
