I wonder if he really cares about this charity, or if he finally realized he looks like a total fool? In any case, at least he's losing the beard......


Red Sox's Damon to shave for charity

Well at least he's getting rid of the beard, if not the long hair. Half-way to becoming the Johnny I adored when he played for Oakland. The literacy program sounds like a laudable cause. Perhaps Damon will get his hair cut to promote another worthy organization, but something tells me he won't be approached anytime soon to lead a campaign for the Safe Driving Association of Orlando.

So, long hair but no beard? He'll look like a girl.

I sorta like the beard look...Facial hair done right on the right guy is hot. I'm mostly a goatee guy though Johnnny's beard looks ok, but thrown together with his long unkempt hair is just awful, he looks like a homeless bum. The beard can stay or go, but the hair defintely has to go LOL

What do you suppose would happen if he got a haircut?...

Scarier still: what might have happened last year if he'd shaved his head... eek! I don't even want to think about it!
