I attended the US Olympic Trials in August 2000 when they were held here. It was a great event. Anyone who can get to Anaheim should certainly consider going. As I recall, there were three events simultaneously taking place on the floor at any given time so there is always something exciting to watch and the pace is always kept moving. The men's events are held separately form the ladies, on different days as I recall. Bring binoculars! There were also special exhibition events. One in particular that I remember was the high trampoline. The guys would bounce off the trampoline until they achieved the required height and then they'd begin to do their twists, turns etc. on each bounce. I think there was some lively music to accompany the exhibition. Almost like diving, only in reverse. I don't know how much of this would hold true for the World Championship but if it were being held here I'd go in a second.
