Irony? Karma? Divine intervention? Not quite sure what to call it, but sad isn't among the options. Seems that professional leech John Henry Williams, son of Hall of Famer and current ice pop Ted Williams has leukemia. Or at least that's what he's saying. Color me skeptical.

QUOTE
John Henry Williams, 35, told the Citrus County Chronicle on Thursday that he was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia earlier this month at UCLA Medical Center. He told the newspaper that he has already started chemotherapy.

\"The whole goal is get the leukemia in remission,\" Williams said from Los Angeles for a story to be published Friday.

Attempts made by The Associated Press to reach Williams were unsuccessful. Calls placed to the home of John Henry Williams' attorney, Eric Abel, were not immediately returned.

Well said, George....I'm not normally one to take pleasure out of the misfortune of others but I DO believe in karma, fate, the old expression "what comes around, goes around" or call it what you will....considering the indefensible, venomous decisions that John Henry Williams has made over the past few years (all of which were designed to took advantage of his OWN FATHER in the name of greed, notwithstanding the fact that he was a true immortal of our National Pasttime) I certainly wouldn't shed a tear if J.H. endured some considerable pain of his own during the upcoming months....to be more specific, how about we hang John Henry upside down at a lab in Arizona and threaten to chop off HIS head and place it in a separate "bucket", only this time make sure the younger Mr. Williams is still ALIVE as the process begins?

Anyone think John Henry would trade some of the riches he earned at his helpless father's expense now in exchange for a longer life?....it should be interesting to see what quotes come out of this idiot's mouth in the near future and whether or not he begins to show any remorse for the way he has treated his late father (both preceeding AND following the time of the Splendid Splinter's death) if his own illness continues to progress.

Am I the only one who thought this whole fiasco would've made an interesting Law and Order episode?

I was thinking more in the line of a new "X-Files" movie...
