We've started a gay poker network at
www.2Jacks2Queens.com
There's a small but growing group of gay and lesbain poker players who connect on 2Jacks2Queens.com.
- We list local poker clubs and poker fundraisers for gay community causes.
- There are weekly gay-only online tournaments with a tournament leader board
- We're doing a gay poker day in Atlantic City at the end of March
- Try TEAM poker with your poker playing friends and compete with teams from other cities
They're small stakes games, mostly for bragging rights and just fun.

ive played in 3 of these tourneys. They are a BUNCH of fun. its only $5 to play, so who cares who wins, really.
I like the banter, trash talk and camaraderie

We are going to have an OUTSPORTS tournament on April 3 at 8:50pmET. You can play poker and watch the NCAA men's championship game at the same time!!
I hope any and all of you can make it - it should be a BLAST! Plus, I'll be playing a warm-up tournament on March 27 (so I don't COMPLETELY embarrass myself). So, you're all welcome then, too.
Who's in?

Yes, the "warm up" tournaments are online. Check the site
tournament schedule for details and how to sign up.
You can use the our first Gay Poker Day in Atlantic City this weekend as a warm up as well if you're in the area. It's the first gay poker day. We'd like to do similar events in other locations, but those won't be before the Vegas convention (I'm a softball player first--poker player second, so we'll get spring training and start of the season out of the way before the next "live" event).
We've been doing regular tournaments online since late December. They've been a lot of fun, and there's some good poker competition. The chat has been entertaining, although some of the players say they ignore the chat and get down to playing poker.

I may not be able to be on the tourney tonight, but I'll DEFINITELY be on the one on April 3. I'll let everyone know here. I'm looking forward to it - sounds like a lot of fun!

I'm going to play in this tournament tonight at 8:50pmET. Anyone else going to join?
If you haven't done it before, I suggest you downloading the software and rebooting your computer sooner than later, since it could take 15 minutes for the whole process.
Texas Hold Em tournament tonight!

Uh, Cyd, you are aware that the NCAA championship game starts a half hour after your poker tournament. So does that mean you plan to lose right away to watch the game, or are you going to try to multi-task and watch the game & play poker at the same time?
I suck at on-line poker...I don't have the patience for those long tournaments...if it's just friends playing I do okay and enjoy playing.

I figured it would be a good way to watch the game, chatting with guys at the table about the game. We already have 5 people, over an hour before the tourney.
If anyone has trouble logging in, email me at cyd@outsports.com or post here and I'll give you the info.
