I need to know if any one on the board knows if there is anywhere a person can get the ball rolling with a movie about a gay man in a macho sport. It's a very serious screenplay and has already been written and copywrited. Are there any good reputable contests? This is a pretty big budget movie so it is not likely to be and "indie". I can't help you, but I'm certainly interested in the answer.I'm sure there are any number of participants around here who have a screenplay, novel, treatment or other lying about just waiting for the right eyes to see it.

My timing was better than I ever expected when I wrote it and finished it last year. It deals with stock car racers and having to deal with being forced out of the closet. I often wonder if it would help all gays and lesbians to deal with being gay and being discriminated against by our social norms.
