De La Hoya won 2nite w/ an 11th round KO! Hard fought fight! I think Oscar is a great fighter, and real HOT!!! On a side note I believe Tennis Star Martina Hingis, should veiw this fight, and watch how Oscar stayed in control, and dictated the bout to swinging his way! I beieve if Hingis took the same approach against "The Big Babe Brigade" she too would have much greater success! LET'S GO OSCAR!!! BT TRINIDAD & SETTLE THE SCORE!!! AII YI YII!!!

Let's face it, they're both pretty hot. Great fight that could've gone either way at several points during the match. But I gotta say it sure as hell is nice, every once in a while, to see somebody with at least a modicum of class take down the guy who's been talkin' trash. Excellent match-up, great fight, terrific outcome -- something boxing definitely needed right now.

not only were both guys hot hot got. But the fight was a great one.
I know the heavy weight bouts get all the publicity. But with those, usually you got 2 big dudes moving as slow as sea turtles on land just holding each other 75% of the time.
De La Hoya Y Vargas? Now that's boxing!

Boxing in the middle weight classes is an interesting and exciting sport. Oscar de la Hoya, Felix Trinidad, Fernando Vargas, those pleasant memories of Hector Camacho: these are athletes worth watching (as well as worth looking at).
Heavyweight boxing is dull, mindless violence.
Next big fight in Las Vegas? October 5. Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Jose Luis Castillo. Mayweather should win easily. Tickets are much more reasonably priced than the de la Hoya fight, consistent with Mayweather fighting in a lighter weight class.

Our man Oscar's back in the news as he readies himself for tonight's bout against Mayorga. Don't be a stranger, Oscar!
