This is a bit random, but I wasn't sure where exactly to put it. Does anybody else like the video-golf game Golden Tee? It's in a bunch of (mostly if not all straight) bars up here. My buddies and I try to play at least once a weekend. It's pretty cool, if you get the chance to check it out.

Is this the one where you use a roller type device to direct your shots? And you have a choice of different courses you can play on? That's the one I'm familiar with and it can be a real hoot, especially with a bit of a buzz!

Yes, that's the one. They have another version at ESPN Zone, but I don't like it as much. As in pool, I play Golden Tee better the drunker I get.

A friend of mine went on EBay and bought it for his apartment. We figured out at the rate he was playing it and all the beer he was drinking at the bar, he'll end up saving money. It is an addictive game.

When I used to work downtown, my friends from work and I always mocked the guys playing Golden Tee and drinking their Heinekens as the ultimate in white yuppie corporate badness.

Then we played it.

And then we were fighting for the machines a couple of times a week.
