So i was just reading and article on espn.com about a lady who is suing the Texas Rangers and three players one of whom hit her with a chair last year and broke her nose. She has recovered but says she is scared to go to a baseball game and hasnt been back since. Also brings to mind the situation with Gary Sheffield and the Boston fan.
what do you guys think. Should there be defenite boundries between the players and fans so the fans have no way to interact with players like in the two situations.

No, you just need idiot fans and players who cause these confrontations to be severely punished.

Apples and Oranges. The Oakland and Boston incidents are 100% different.
After what happened to the Royal's first base coach and Umpire Laz Diaz in Chicago, I have little faith that the legal establishment adequately punishes offenders who interfere with play.
