As for the show itself, the Arthur Ashe Courage award was quite moving. Good thing the tissue box was nearby.
I really like this show. The jocks look like they are having a great time. My only criticisms would be Chris Berman (his schtick is just so very tired!) and Tim Allen. Was it me or did he just ramble aimlessly? The women who accepted the Arthur Ashe Courage award had more poise.

Did you guys see that bit with Derek Jeter and using the force.
I was working out on a cardio machine at the gym and about fell off because I was laughing so hard. LOL
"Don't catch the ball with your mit, catch your ball with your mind" (young Jeter's hands tied togeather while being pelted with baseballs hit with a light saber. LMAO
I vividly recall Jose Canseco "catching the ball with his mind" once.

The Derek Jeter/Jedi master sketch was very well-thought out. Jackson pitching to a blindfolded Jeter cracked me up.
The Arthur Ashe award was quite moving, and I was glad that Bingham's mother reminded us that the four honored last night were not the only heroic passengers on the flight; also heartening was Curt Schilling's comment on accepting an award for the Diamondbacks that he was going to mention the team's "sacrifice" but that these four women had reminded him of what a true sacrifice is.
