According to a report on Pardon the Interruption on ESPN, FOX is trying to get a boxing show together matching up some notorious people. One match would feature figure skating femme fetale Tonya Harding vs. the Long Island Lolita Amy Fisher! On the undercard is Danny Bonaduce (Danny from The Partridge Family) vs. Barry Williams (aka Greg Brady)! There is also talk of matching Darva Conger (the bimbo who was on Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire) and Paula Jones (Former Bill Clinto blow up doll). Sounds like it could be pretty campy fun!

Sounds a bit like they just ripped off MTV's celebrity death match but instead of claymation they are actually trying to get the real people. Don't think i would watch though -- i am sure i could find something else to waste my time with besides this.

Yes, just heard on NPR the Tonya-Amy Fisher match is a go for March 13 on Fox. Be sure to double-check the date so you won't be heart-broken if I got it wrong.
The commentator (tongue planted firmly in cheeck) stated "This is why God created the Fox network."
Since I drive LA's increasingly crowded streets and freeways, it would be redundant for me to tune in.
And since I'm a UCLA basketball fan, I have already experienced my quota of strangeness for the year.

I owuld give it a try, once. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing anyone beat the crap out of Tonya Harding.

I happen to listen to Jamie and Danny in the morning on Star 98 here in LA on occasion. They were talking about it earlier.
Would I watch it? Sure, if I were sent to some circle in Dante's Inferno.
