Members of the UCLA men's golf team have been caught with their pants down.

In the June issue of Golf Digest, due to hit newsstands next week, the No. 3-ranked Bruins are shown wearing nothing while holding buckets of golf balls to cover their front sides.

It is part of a special report on fitness in golf.

UCLA Coach O.D. Vincent said, "We are honored to be included in the piece. It's a tremendous opportunity to give our program exposure."

Lots of exposure.

Anyone seen this pic, yet? I heard they are also photographed wearing only their boxers while playing golf.

GOOD-GOBBELTY-GOOP! I think this is the very first time Golf Digest has has a fold-out centerfold! On one side, they are olied up and posing in just their shorts and on the other side of the fold out, yes, they are totally naked (the entire golf team) holding buckets of golf balls with their UCLA shorts scrunched down to their feet. VERY nice! A sight to behold. Go to the magazine stand and check it out. However, the one who really caught my eye is Augusta State's Wallace Booth -- wearing just a kilt while playing golf...he's yummy!

Haven't seen "the picture" yet, but between the posts here, the Daily Bruin article, and the overdressed photo of UCLA golfer John Poucher in Golf Digest's online version of the article, I'm very excited about getting a copy.

Picked up a copy this afternoon. Aside from it being a very good article on a new emphasis on fitness in golf, the pictures are amazing.

While the UCLA team is getting all the attention, my personal favorite is this shot of Augusta State's Wallace Booth.

There are two multi-page spreads of the UCLA team. The first, in two parts is of the men in their shorts. Left and right.

The second, the fold-out spread of the men with just their big clubs and their buckets of balls, takes four pages: From left to right, the gentlemen pictured are Breen Murphy, Peter Campbell, Travis Johnson, John Merrick, Jeremy Lawson, John Poucher, Roy Moon, Steve Conway, Joakim Renstrom and Chris Heintz.

Hehehe... the only one who thinks of the children is Juanita Barber from last year's American Idol Round of 32.. LOL...

Anyways- I digress back on topic- no harm, no foul, just a bunch of young adults having fun with the hopes getting exposure and funding for their programs which happen to be non-basketball and non-football and thus pretty much non-funded at most schools, even the biggies.

Well, they got the exposure part down.

Not bad... not bad at all, if a bit static. But just think if they used the stade.fr photographers...

cool pics...who would think that golfers would be so willing to pose practically nude...shows a healthy attitude towards casual nudity...not something very prevalent among american sportsmen...
