So with Barry Bonds hitting a pair (so far) in his first game of '02...is it possible? Could he approach 73 again? Are we going to see the league leader with at least 58 for the indefinite future?

Barry will definitely exceed the 73 from last year! He's totally hot no matter how much you guys diss him. Also, the Giants are going to win the NL West no matter what you guys think. Much improved team, and they were only two games back from AZ last year, it's a no-brainer!

Aaaack!! Two more homeruns for Bonds last night! At least they came against the Dodgers. I'd much prefer to see a more deserving player achieve like this, but his accomplishments are indeed outstanding.

I posted the 324 homer pace this morning for my math students. It definitely brought out the discussion of if he could do it. Who knows, Bonds just might hit a hundred this year!

Well, he hit another 2 run homer in the 10th today against San Diego to make it a 4-0 season so far for the Giants!
Go Giants! Go Barry!
