Does anyone know who Martina is playing with at the Open? Hopefully it will be Petrova.

Congrats to Martina. I'm delighted to see her win one more this year. And hopefully the partnership will exert a good mental influence on Petrova -- god know she needs one!

Petrova is a good match for her. I'd love to see them go deep in the women's doubles draw. Meanwhile, the pairing with Bob Bryan is interesting. She thought she was going to play with him at Wimbledon only to find out he had agreed to play with Venus. Doh. Martina was lucky to land another great partner. I believe the story goes that despite Venus asking him to play at the U.S. Open, he agreed to play with Martina in her final event.

I guess you gotta go with the legend in her swan song. Maybe they'll make it through the draw. You never know with mixed.

Then I'll cross my fingers that Bob takes Venus up on her invitation at the next slam.
