Thanks for posting this article, RSB. It makes it very clear that the Yankees were not at fault here, and were not the heartless ogres less responsible members of the media tried to make them out to be.
I hope Jim and Cyd read this article.

Stark's article seems to put the blame on MLB.
MLB was told as of Friday what TB's plans were: that they would leave after the weekend and would get to NY when they got there. Also, the Yankees were told on Friday of TB's plans.
TB couldn't have known on Friday that all the airports would be closed Monday morning... but had assumed they could fly out in the morning and play in the afternoon.
Despite all this, MLB kept telling the Yankees that the games were going ahead as scheduled.
But if MLB is to blame, then why should Tampa Bay suffer by forfeiting?
