Dwight Gooden was arrested (yet again) in Tampa on charges of violating his probation after admitting he had again used cocaine.

stuff's a hard habit to break.......right about this time in life Doc should have been accepting accolades for his upcoming enshrinement into Cooperstown.

He shouldn't have had his nose in the powder in the first place. Be responsible for your actions.

Dwight Gooden is being held without bond and could face up to five years in prison for violating his probation. He's scheduled to have a hearing within the next fourteen days. Let's hope he gets the treatment he needs; too often the law doesn't address that aspect of addiction when meting out punishment.

Dwight Gooden told the judge he violated his parole by using cocaine and is set to be sentenced next month.

Former pitching great Dwight Gooden was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for violating his probation on a drunk driving stop by using cocaine. With credit for time already served, Gooden will probably spend about 7 1/2 months in state prison, his attorney said.
