Is there an award that is given out annually to that athlete? If so Justine should be in the running 2x, first for the display at the French with Serena some years back and now this blasphemy!!!
This was a Grand Slam final, not some Tear 9 first round event Justine!! Pulling out of Grand Slam final 4 games before the match would have been over, which most likely would have been about 10-15 minutes from the second game of the second set?? BS BS BS BS!!! She was being outplayed and smoked off the court by the true champion of the Slam event.
Then to rub the wound, she gives that totally lame speech after the match in front of the entire tennis world?? OMG!!
I will never have any respect for her again. I remember the Williams/Henin event some years back at the French and how she worked that scene, and this just puts the exclamation point on the her shady character and sportsmanship she obviously lacks.
Kudos to Amelie for not saying anything really negative about Justine. Major boooos, to Justine for having the nerve to say to the press that Amelie knew she was hurting during the first set and was making her run to exploit that. BS BS BS BS!!
Man I tell you what, If I were Amelie I would have kicked her Belgian ass all over that lockeroom!!! Maybe THEN she could say she was having a "stomach ache".....She freakin' deserves one now!
