I wasn't aware of this NCAA rule. It goes to show you that not only must you be competitive enough to play at the 1-A level, but money is important too. Wow, I'm surprised...Not!

How shocking to see Buffalo on that list rolleyes.gif .....

winning 10 games in seven seasons of D1A football will do that I suppose....

though that doesn't explain the routine sellouts for the local NFL club that hasn't made the playoffs since '99 right.

some of these teams need to drop down to I-AA OR the NCAA needs to set up a two-tier system for I-A

these teams will never play for a national championship; their bowl chances are very limited; unless your fans have something to look forward to, they're not going to attend the games

Of course some of these schools are already being proactive about the list. BG putting the Wisconsin game in Cleveland and ULM playing a home game against Arkansas in Little Rock.

Although I think the Dennis Erickson buzz will help them now Idaho has avoided that by playing "home" games against Washington St. in Pullman.
