Damn, how many heart-attacks can the Rams give me? I'm getting too old for this sh*t!

Hey, at least they won! A W is a W. More than I can say for CU (who we beat, and who lost this week (again) to USC--time for the Rams to overtake the Buffs in the polls, don't you think?) and BYU (thank you thank you thank you, we always need a Cougars' loss in the WAC--sorry, I meant MWC, old habits die hard)

And how about that Justin Holland? What a cutie. Now, I'm not into young guys, but this chicken's got quite an arm, eh? Way to bring him back in a the end to mop up Van Pelt's f*ck-ups!

Hoping to see the 'teens for the Rams this week in the polls (Enjoy it while you can, Nevada Reno is a cake walk, but Fresno is quite a bete noir for us (for CU alumni, that means "nemesis"...and for Berkeley alumni, that means "bad guys").)

Rock on, Rams, and good luck against the Wolf Pack. (Which reminds me of a great trivia game...remind me of that when the Rams lose and I'm pissed off, it's a good game to take my mind off a bad loss.)

CSURams, I went to the Buffs game (sad story) and then caught most of the Rams/Cardinals game on ESPN2.

As for the Buffs game, I have never been to a game where I did not see the home team complete even one pass. Colorado (supposedly a top 25 team!) completed one pass for 20 yards right after opening kickoff (didn't make it to my seat in time), and then one pass for 6 yards late in the 4th quarter (I was long gone by then). Only 3 first downs the entire game, and 29 net yards. Is that pathetic or what?

As for the CSU game, I must say the Rams looked great until the last 5 minutes of the game. But remember that all the pollsters see is the final score. 36-34 sounds like a typical WAC/Mountain West game and not very impressive. Too bad it didn't end up 36-14 like it should have!

That being said, I agree the AP Poll does not make a whole lot of sense this week. It is just beyond stupid that Colorado State has beaten Colorado, Virginia and Louisville, and is not in the top 25.
