I just got an email that the game was postponed. I was told to be prepared for Thursday, Friday or Saturday of next week to play.

KeyWestGuy and MiamiDr, great game, but you gotta get a better offense or it is going to be tough to win those away games. Defense was awesome, but don't expect the opposing QB to suck so badly every week. Poor cute Chris Rix, he had a rough day, he is going to be seeing Canes in his sleep for weeks.

Chris Rix is perhaps the least fundamentally sound QB for a supposed powerhouse program that I have seen in a long time. Whomever has coached/tried to coach him on the basics of throwing the ball has failed miserably.

My question is why were the FSU players having such a hard time with cramping while the Miami players were not?

I thought it was a great game. This was Chris Rix first game of the year in a incredible loud Orange Bowl with a new team. He is a good QB. The fumble at end was from a low wobbly snap that veered to the right. When I saw him dive 5 yards about 5 feet off the ground for a first down he showed his heart. Florida State wont lose another game this year and Rix will prove his critics wrong.

Chris Rix has absolutely horrible footwork, often throwing the ball without planting his right (back) foot. He is also a bad decision-maker when it comes to throwing the ball, often putting the ball up for grabs rather than throwing it away or taking a sack. His fourth quarter scramble and dive was awesome, but it doesn't overcome his fundamental shortcomings or mental errors. My opinion is not just based on one game, but his entire career. He has not progressed as a QB since he began starting for Florida State.

He may be pretty to look at physically, but he is a mechanically bad QB.
