So for the weeks where ABC says they may select the ACC, Big East, Big XII, ACC, etc. with a 12 day selection, does that mean that a week and a half before the game a school will be forced to change their kickoff time at the last minute?

Now I understand that it's nice to have a primetime national broadcast but that's pretty weak to only give a school a 12 day notice. From a fan's perspective though, I guess it will be nice to have the best possible matchup out there on nationally.

I imagine some schools may just have scheduled kickoff time as TBD. Since for a lot of fans college football is an all-day event, the kick-off time (12, 3:30, or 7) is not that much of a factor. Besides if ABC comes calling to say, Baylor, Rutgers, Wazzu, or Wake Forest, I highly doubt they'd say no because of kick-off time fluctuation.

The 12 day rule has been around for a long time. At Miami we never know when the games are going to be played so they all say TBA. It sorta sucks because the game could be played anywhere from 12-8.
