Are any other C-N graduates posting here? I graduated from there in 1997 and would like to know if any of you guys are C-N grads, too. From the 80s into the 90s, C-N won several NAIA titles; then, they were moved on to NCAA Division II. They've been to the championship game a couple of times during the past 6 years, but haven't won the big game, yet.

COOL! I was born in Jefferson City, TN, the same town where the C-N campus is. I grew up in a tiny little town called Strawberry Plains (halfway between Jefferson City and Knoxville).

I have played against Carson-Newman, in the late '70s and early '80s Washington & Lee scheduled Carson-Newman in basketball up in Lexington, VA a couple of times. I will have to pull my annuals but I think we beat them the times we played. They were NAIA at the time. We never went to Jefferson City to play there, but we did go to Maryville, TN every year to play.
