It will be Senior Day at a bunch of games this Saturday -- and there are quite a few senior players who may have only one more college game -- the post-season bowl. Some we may see in the NFL -- others we won't.

In the Big Ten, we say goodbye to the defending national champ's Craig Krenzel and the much maligned but rock-solid QB John Navarre. Tomorrow he'll seal his fate with the Wolverine fans if he can win the big game.

Purdue loses a talented bunch of studs: Stuart Schweigert, Niko Koutouvides, John Standeford.

... and for my Badgers the notables are co-captains Lee Evans, Jeff Mack and Jim Sorgi. Evans will no doubt land on an NFL team.

Thanks to all these guys for some great games and great memories!

Who are your favorites that you're gonna miss?

They're not my favorites, and I won't miss 'em one bit, but here's a great big buh-bye to:

Eli Manning, David Pollack, David Greene, Jared Lorenzen, Derek Abney, Jonathan Vilma, Randall Gay, Casey Clausen, Tony Bua, and Greg Jones.

Buh-bye! wink

Hate to break it to ya GJ, but neither David Pollack or David Greene are seniors...both are juniors. Greene has already stated he will definitely be back for his senior year, while Pollack is undecided. In my opinion and from what I've heard out of Athens, he will be back also. The Dawgs actually have very few seniors in starting roles this year.

Last week's game against NCState was FSU's Senior Day with the only really recognizable name being Greg Jones. But the game's biggest seniors were two that Bobby Bowden noted that he was glad he wouldn't have to see again: Phillip Rivers and Jerricho Cotchery. I'm sure there are plenty of ACC fans glad to see the last of them - they were brutal to us at least.
