Can Cattledog go 10 for 10 again. Will each of these ten games even be played, or will Isabel cause postponement?
ALERT: the first game this week is Thursday's Hurricane Bowl -- TAMU @ VaTech (according to hokiesports.com, the game is still on as scheduled).
The rules:
1. Pick the winner in EACH game.
2. Predict how many points the team you pick to win the designated Game of the Week will win by. This will be used for tiebreak purposes. This week it is the Tennessee @ Florida game.
3. The first pick is needed by the kickoff of the first game -- 7:30 Eastern on Thursday. You can get the rest of them to me by noon on Saturday.
4. Picks MUST be submitted either via the Private Message function or E-mail. My email address is dcbucky2000@hotmail.com -- please do not post your picks here. Include your Outsports nickname with your picks.
This week's games:
Thursday, September 18
1. Texas A&M @ Virginia Tech
Saturday, September 20
2. Georgia @ LSU
3. Michigan @ Oregon
4. Colorado @ Florida State
5. Miami @ Boston College
6. Arizona State @ Iowa
7. UCLA @ Oklahoma
8. Texas Tech @ North Carolina State
9. West Virginia @ Maryland
10. Tennessee @ Florida -- GAME OF THE WEEK -- tiebreaker -- decide how many points by which the victor will win.
GOOD LUCK!

Cattledog probably will NOT go 10 for 10 again because he is picking his Texas A&M alma mater to somehow beat the hell outta Virginia Tech tomorrow! I cannot go against my Aggies.

I thought about picking Oregon, but just don't know how they're going to overcome the 14 points they have to spot Michigan because of those hideous yellow uniforms the Ducks wore during their first game!

That would be "lightning" yellow. And you haven't seen the last of the lightning uniforms  They also have a "thunder" green version, the white version, and they can mix and match for a total of about nine different looks. Fine. I'll be out on the Duck island all by myself. Quack.

Oregon's new uni's can't be any worse than the all-gold ones that Burt Reynolds bought for FSU one year. They were HORRIBLE! I don't think they've worn them more than once.

Even though I picked my Aggies, and would pick them again, it was out of sheer blind loyalty. They are a young team, and I knew that they would have a rough time with an excellent Virgina Tech team. However, the Ags hung around (only down 21-19 three quarters into the game) and definitely did not embarrass me at all. Even though my lights were flickering on and off through this whole thing, I thought the Aggies showed a lot of poise.

I was another who picked the Ducks...right, DCBucky?!
I am at .750 for the season (playing every week). I'm happy with that.
And DAMN YOU ALL who went against me and chose those damn people who can't tell a gator from a croc! The Vols move one step toward another National Championship.

Actually there are four of you who picked the Ducks to win (G_vf sent in his Oregon pick after I posted the aggregate prediction count on Friday): MDB, G_vf, bobby78751 and Breesboy.
Well done!
I'll post the season standings a bit later.

Will I never get off the Island of 6-4? I went with favorites, then decided to leave room for upsets, making some CRAAAAAAZEEE picks, but picked the wrong upsets!
Guess I'll go with who has the ugliest band uniforms. Oh, wait. I'd better reconsider. In that case, I'd always be picking Oregon.

So you're saying you picked Oregon because they had the nicer uniforms? George, I love you, man.
It's like when that record exec picked Greg Brady to be the next Johnny Bravo because he fit the suit!!!

Could this be a sign of things to come for the Crocs? eek!
It was Michigan and Georgia that did me in. UGA/LSU was a tough choice, but I thought the Wolverines would do better. Special teams made the difference in that game. I'm reminded of a quote I once saw: "The best part of Michigan is under water!" That's how I felt after the game.

It's honorary there bub. And yes, they were quite proud and happy to have a True American Patriot, myself, sing the rocky top song with them. Plus i had all my teeth, but that lost me points.

Now that you say that, it makes me wonder...is it better to have a full set of teeth or a functioning brain. Hummm...

Oh this is too easy.... you have no problems...
No teeth with the whole tenn thingy...
And with the braves part, that sort of solves the brain issue.
