Some friends and I were commenting last night during yet another BORING National Championship game about how much more exciting the NCAA Champsionship basketball games are than the football games. Of course, that could have something to do with the fact that both b-ball teams come in to the game on 6-game winning streaks...they are hot and have high confidence. Both teams in the football championship typically have not played a freaking game in 30-45 days. It's crazy. So a playoff/tournament format would not only make the system more fair, but I think the games would be SO much better. But that's just my opinion; I could be wrong.
