OK, so not exactly - the Heisman winner and his teammates are ensconced at the Griffin-owned Beverly Hilton as they prepare for the Jan 3 Rose Bowl game.

E also "brought along" a new item - a bachelor's degree. He and 14 of his teammated graduated last Saturday night, just before flying out from chilly Lincoln. So, if the football career doesn't happen, the sheepskin in Exercise Science should come in handy

Damn, the Beverly Hilton? The Canes are staying at the Century Plaza in Pasadena. LOL, and I thought we were the home team!

MIA - actually the Century Plaza is in Century City, just a mile or so from the Bev Hilton (CC is technically within the city limits of L.A.).

If memory serves, I don't think there are any hotels in the Pasadena area large enough to serve as a team HQ - when past Super Bowls were held in the Rose Bowl, some teams stayed as far away as Orange County.

Okay you really scared me for a minute there because Merv is just too afraid of anyone publicly stating that he likes the boys. He would put the entire team out of the hotel first.
