Okay gang, who is going to the Peach Bowl? Lets find a day/time to get together and go out for drinks. The band and cheerleaders at UM are staying at the Omni.It will be a small group as you have to live in south florida to be able to go to the game. The University is not flying in anyone . I have 1O cheerleaders who are flying into on their own, to get on the bus to drive 12 hours to Atlanta. It should be a fun time.

all you altanta nativies need to help us find something to do. I want to take the cheerleders to a children's hospital on the 30th in the morning. Does anyone have any suggestion on which hospital we should approach? I can also get some tickets if anyone wants them. I think Jim and CYd should come to Atlanta for New Years.

MiamiDr, you might look at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta or Grady Healthsystem, both of which would be great to visit.

I'd love to go to the game if you have extra tickets. And if it helps, I absolutely HATE anything to do with Florida (sorry GJ!).

I hope you just mean that silly university up in Hogtown and not the rest of our glorious state. wink I assume that means you'll be rooting for the Canes--good choice!

Unfortunately, it looks like neither I nor my arch nemesis GatorJamie will be able to attend the showdown. If it were any other night of the year, I could get away, but New Year's Eve is the 2nd busiest night of the year in the bar biz down here in Key West.

You will be happy to know the entire band, flag girls and all are being flown in for the game. Actually it is about 225. They didnt even do that for my cheerleaders. If the rahrahs cant make it back to Miami to ride the bus for 12 hours :mad: you cant go to the game. Luckily, I have dedicated kids who are flying themselves or driving into ATL for the game. I should have 10 there.

LOL,yes there are more flags girls than trumpets...Most of the rahrah's are not from Florida. Out of 15 I have only 4 are from the State, so they dont want to fly them in.....remember only about 20% of the students at Miami are from Florida....

I go away for 3 days and return to find that those awful pictures from my sordid past have resurfaced. I only posed because I needed money for law school!!! Remember, GJ, I live in the same state you do, the courts have jurisdiction, the protective order subpoena is on its way. wink
